Lol, this is reallllly similar to the deck I just posted. I decided to ditch the golbin guides, though. I found they were only good early game, and late game they sucked. They might prove well with the battle cry, now. But mehhh, we'll see. I like this one, man. Props. (:

this is also similar though not "super" similar to the deck i posted this morning. mine is less focused on battly cry and is more of a mix between battlecry and early landfall... i threw in mirran crusader for mine because it+battlecry is awesome in my opinion, anyway check it out please and let me know what you think!

Hahahaha, bring it. ; ] Yeah, I think boros will be huge, but I'd really like to see infect get somewhere. Preferably blue black, because I have a deep love for blue black control xD But I think it'll be fun to see what decks will come out on top. Plus Canadian nationals are soon ;D

Yeah, he's great because he's another "battle cry'd" maniac flying in for the kill. I've said it before that I wanted to sway away from building Tourney decks ever since I made that one back during Ravnica for my friend (you can't imagine how much you get bothered by people after something like that...I still get emails every once in a while). That said, I've been considering going back into the swing of things with this. However, PLEASE don't ask me about the other top meta-decks that will arise. I will help with decks as always, but I'd like it if I wasn't building tourney decks again.
lol people have asked you to build their decks for them? WHY?! if i'm not the one building decks it really isnt super fun for me lol besides when i play with a "foriegn" deck it feels weird:-p
After your friend gets 2nd place in state regional using a deck you designed...Yeah, people bug the **** out of you to build them decks. Trust me, it's not all chocolate and sprinkles....

Glad it helped. I can try to look at the sideboard, but to be perfectly honest...Sideboards have never been my strong-suit. =/
I usually don't see the point in sideboards. I mean, I know they help against different deck variations/types, but if you build a strong deck, it should do just find on it's own.
well if that is the case then i shall just copy ya'lls stoneforge mystic idea and sideboard that -_- just for good measure:)
I'd say 90% of the time it's true that the sideboard is just a pretty pile of 15 cards off to the side. However, that 10% of the time, proper sideboarding can absolutely wreck an opponent's deck. And when you take a deck to a tourney...that 10% really starts to add up.

I'd put a sword of body and mind in the sideboard for protection against blue and green. thrun will be pretty popular, and if there is a huge control phase, protection from blue is sick

This deck is really awesome im kinda surprised you only put in one contested war zone and one sword but hey your one of the experts haha i would suggest if you put in anymore equipment to put in the bass squire because he makes you equip for free and he has an awesome art in my opinion haha. in my opinion for his kicker to be useful you would have to wait until late game to really get the chance to use it and in late game i would rather play oxid ridge than bushwhacker... i just realized that your deck is almost the exact same as mine surewhynot, only 2 differences:p
Well, think about early game then, signal pest on the first turn then bushwhacker for 4 damage :P Besides, how can he not be affective in the late game? you have hero of oxid ridge on the battle field, then you add another creature, then play bushwhacker kicked, imagine the amount of damage that can be made :P Oxid Ridge does five damage, bushwhacker does 3 instead of 2, and that creature gets plus one from both creatures, so that is 8 plus what ever, thats good damage to have mate
i agree with you that it is good damage, i am in no way saying your idea is bad, the theory is good. the probability of it being useful is not as good though, t2 i would rather attack for 4 with my steppe lynx personally which could have an adventuring gear on it or i could have out a geopede, or i could have 2 signal pest out. bushwhacker just seems like a short term gain long term loss in the early game respect by t5(which is when he would be useful) my opponent has been dead everytime i've won with my deck which is almost identical to this one and i ideally i would rather have oxid ridge t5 and bladehold t4, if they survived that THEN bushwhacker would be useful.. but otherwise not to to much

Yeah, I know that its temporary, but thats why you need four of them in there :P I swear, there have been moments in my game wear getting my bushwhacker against and unsuspecting all tapped out opponent became a natural game winner. I was able to do a total attacking force of 21 damage by turn three because of dropping two whackers in there :P

Sup. Since I got me a 3-day weekend and no homework and I recently quit League of Legends it's time for me to get back into MTGVault again. Now onto the Deck, I like it a lot, however, I think there's a couple things you got to know. First off, I have a soft spot for the new Goblin Wardriver, seeing as how his artwork reminds me of Raging Goblin, but he completely screws this Decks Mana Symbol Occurence. You run 3 Goblin Wardrivers, which adds 6 Red Mana to your Mana Symbol Occurence. You are bassically adding more Mountains than Plains in this Deck for the Card, which has the potential to Mana-Screw you many, many times and from a couple Sample Hands, I can see it happening. If you take him out and replace him with some aggresive 2-Drop. What kind of aggresive 2-Drop that doesn't screw up my Mana-Curve you ask? Phyrexian Revoker. This guy is the Pithing Needle for aggresive Decks and he would be the perfect replacement in my opinion. Another piece of feedback I have is Ricochet Trap in Sideboard. I hate this Card in general, but with the new really really good Infect Creatures coming you way with Mirrodin Beseiged, Burn the Impure would probably be a better replacement. Just my two cents, great Deck overall. Hope this helps! :D
That's actually a good idea. I'm gonna go with another Signal Pest (those little guys are SO useful) and then 2 Revokers (also I only have 2 =P). This deck is going to trash people so much. Oh, and I'll find a home for the little goblin...maybe a RDW battle cry. =]
Yeah, that change make this deck gorgeous. Perfect 50-50 split, aggressive style control/prevention with revoker (or Jar-Jar =P), ass-loads of fast damage...Love it. =]
i think i'm going to try those changes as well! i've been in far to many situations where i dont want to waste 2 red mana on wardriver becuase i have a bolt or something in my hand:-p

So I was playtesting, and turns out oxid ridge just completely rapes shit. Omg, he's so much better than bladehold. but none the less, bladehold is good too, but I feel in certain situations, where it's a race (say against goblins, because trust me, they're back) you'll love the haste and added battle cry. hero of bladehold is good for a more late game situation. so i'd round the hero of bladehold to 2, and bump the oxid ridge to 4.
Maybe...I just love the clean, even mana curve that I have right now. I think I'm just going to leave this as is. It still remains undefeated =P

Not the way I look at it. =/ It will cause a 4 mana shift towards red. That'll make me have to change the lands up...it'll just be a mess. =p

Because it's a 4-drop that you're shifting, you really shouldn't have to be that concerned with the mana like that. Maybe swap one plains for a mountain, if even that. If it really is that much better, play the better card!

Mann, i tried taking out accorder paladin for 2 spikeshot elders, and they work amazing. i upped the fetch land count to 12 (4 of each) and put an ad gear on spikeshot, dead turn 5, as soon as I had the mana to activate his ability, he died in 2 turns. deal 5, swing for 5. (: i really suggest changing the paladin for spikeshot
that was so poorly worded, LOL, my opponent was dead turn 5, pretty swell single handedly to spikeshot. its not that spikeshot was all I had, but spikeshot just did the job best
phyrexian crusader... rapes this decks butthole. you have no way to stop it from just being pumped up and killing you so basically if they play the crusader just f***ing scoop. any other deck itd be fine against its just when the crusader comes out might as well scoop bc its just a matter of time. basically like 2 or 3 turns
I know he does. The only thing I can really do is kill the opponent first, which I've managed to do a few times. I can also slap SFF on a signal pest, but that's grasping at straws really. Thankfully there aren't too many powerfully effective infect decks out in the major meta really, so it isn't something I have to worry too much about, but it is a problem.
i think you should add searing blaze. Atleast i think its pretty good, and it can be very powerful!
