1 drawback to this deck the words combat and damage. for all we know the opponent could be using a creatureless deck. and if they do have creatures they could use things like corrupt or consume spirit ect. and that isn't combat damage thats life loss so i would invest in counter magic (Dash hopes) and some discard a bit so they cant play things or attack you none the less its a great deck and what are the chances of them having a creaturless deck running life loss instead of damage anyway i thought i would bring up the matter of my concern.

Well that's the idea behind the Leyline, the Iso-seek, and the Elixir. With those, it's nigh impossible to harm me enough to win, and if you do, I'll shake your hand and say "Well done".

I thought about it, but to be honest, that ****ing card will get you killed so damn fast it's not even funny. Seriously, I dare you to play that card in a multiplayer game.

I tend to agree BrianBell... It's a little extra win condition if you need it, and you've got twenty cards in your deck that'll prevent you from taking combat damage and the leyline for direct damage... Plus iso/seek to have the cards when you need them.

Beautiful deck though :-)

Hehe, thanks. I'm just saying, maybe it's where/who I play, but that card is a deathwish.

Nice. I think the only one drop prevent all combat damage spell you don't have in here is ethereal haze, and I don't think there is anymore room for that. Silence would be pretty fun to play in here.....and also very mean :D

I personally prefer Ethereal Haze over Holy Day because it does that little bit extra by preventing any type of damage creatures do that turn :p

In order to deal more damage with this (since you run the colors) Is Batwing Brume. Underworld Dreams is interesting, I had forgotten about that card. The deck seems to nickel and dime the opponent to death, or just survive and hope your opponent doesn't pull a naturalize. Perhaps adding a Darksteel Reactor, or even better a Dark Depths will increase your chances.

I'd love to play my life gain against this haha. But yeah Batwing Brume would be good (I guess it would fail with the Scepter tho).

Check out my new Deadly Sins Series, I could def use your take on that.

okay i like the concept, but honestly I dont really see you surviving terribly long just off of fogs. eventually you'r gonna get smacked. My suggestion: Slow them down even more... with Lightmine Field. Either that or throw in a board clearer like Wrath of God. Hopefully these would help you stall out even longer for Helix Pinnacle to trigger. But thats just my suggestion :)

nice deck dude prevent all damage built up your mana vaults and win with the pinnical right oh and those Omnath, Locus of Mana can be pretty big too cant they, dude pretty boring but with your locus's mana ect why not through a drain life/profane command type card in there adding the extra win condition people keep talking about also with the profane you can win with the fear ect.

good deck as always well done bro.

Nice deck.. Sorry to spam my deck, but I'm new here and you seem to be big here. I proxied in cards from the new Mirrodin Besieged, I didn't know if that was ok. Wanted to get your thoughts on it. Thanks.

The deck looks like fun, thankfully, I counter with the word that I love more than anything in magic...Eldrazi!

The fogs are certainly fun though, and losing to a Helix Pinnacle is always painful.

how about "Blunt the Assault". I know you want the fog for the 1 mana cost but you gain life.
Or "Moments Peace" because of the flashback.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet, but Orim's Chant is a great possibility. I used to play a U/W control where I would get one of those on a stick. Honestly, it made the deck kind of not fun to play and most of my friends would just concede. Plus the card is hard to come across and not a $0.10 common.

I apologize if this has already been suggested. I skimmed through the previous comments and didn't see it.

I'd get 2 more copies of isochron scepter, just to increase the likelyhood that you can get a Fog/Holy Day imprinted scepter out earlier. As long as you have 2 mana, then you're set untill the scepter gets removed. Another spell similar to those cards is Holy Day. Its more expensive to cast but has a few more options, which might make it worthwhile.

Cool deck. :)

Also, why not give Story Circle a try?

Cool deck idea. I love shenanigans :d Haze Frog does something similar with fog. I don't know if it's cost effecient for you deck, but just a thought.

If you get a chance check out my decks. I would love some feedback.

I would say Doubling Cube for the Omanth/Helix Pinnavle this is really the only place that card would be useful.

Nice deck!!!
Im new mtg player and I have a question regarding Annihilator ability. If i have in play Pathrazer of Ulamog who have Annihilator 3 and the defending player have only 2 permanents in play, can Pathrazer of Ulamog attack, since it says: Whenever this creature attacks, defending player sacrifices three permanents.
The defending player sacrifices all of her remaning permanents below 3? Or I cannot declare the attack?

If a clause within an effect cannot be completed, unless another clause redirects the effect, the original effect continues to its limits.

That's a fancy-pants way of saying that if they don't have enough to sacrifice, they sacrifice all that they can. Much the same way if a spell says "Target player discards 3 cards", but the player only has 2 cards in hand, they just discard those 2.

Yup, and that's why annihilator is so fun :D. Eldrazi help break through a lot of things that used to creature almost unbreakable locks.

Hehe. You: "99 counters on my Helix Pinnacle, one more turn and I win!" Me: "Revoke Existence. Your turn."

Surewhynot, why do you have so many decks? It's like, anytime I try a deck search, I see a deck of yours. Do you have any standard U/W decks? I'd love to take a look at them (that's the archetype I play at FNM). Good work with this. Seems to be obnoxious. Which I imagine is what you were going for. :P
