Deck discussion for The Chapel

Yup, I can see where this would be a headache. My only concern is that everything is very prone to removal and there's nothing that you have that offers protection to them in anyway. In multiplayer, yes, I can see this getting incredibly out of hand. However, like all decks that do great in multi, you're quickly made a target of by everyone.

Would be neat seeing this at a multiplayer table with me. Be great to see how it fairs in real time, against mine. Take a look at it if you have time.

I welcome any comments or criticism you can offer on any of the decks I have posted on the site (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks!

Thanks. Yeah, it is weak to removal, but it's mostly for casual/multiplayer, where it can get out of control fast. I had a game in multi with 3 Suture Priests, all 4 Blood Seekers, and 2 Soul's Attendants out at the same time. Everyone was pretty pissed, and two guys couldn't play anything or they'd die.

Ummmm.... torpor orb! lol i love multiplayer games and this would definitely be a fun one to run! i think sacrificial decks are my favorite for multiplayer though, well as far as creature control goes... once gravepact hits its a creatureless game for everyone except for me and my big beetle and feeder xD

anyway would you mind taking a look at my first prison deck

I play multiplayer almost exclusively and there's nothing more fun than being the dick. Needless to say I'm suddenly considering putting together a deck along the same lines of this piece of work. How much did you spend on this?

That's the best part, my estimated price for it is pretty manageable. Granted, when NPH is actually released, who knows what the prices will do, but still I think this will be pretty cheap.

There's an intense amount of life loss/gain all happening at the same time. Dear lord. Bravo on this design. In 3+ player games, you might get singled out.. very quickly. Haha.

I love this concept. Reminds me of my Spirit deck. Great work.

Would you care to take a look at this deck and give me some pointers on how to make it better?

I'm wondering if Pulse Tracker is better than blood seeker ? What do you think ?

0

Meh, doesn't seem like Pulse Trackers would last nearly as long as the blood seekers since in multiplayer ppl are quick to kill stuff like that.

TAKE A LOOK AT MY HERIMIT DRUID COMBO DECK!

Ah! You beat me to it! I just finished re-Vamping my black aggro (geddit?) and built another casual deck to use against the newbies in our group, and then I was going to modify my lifegain defender to WB for life gain / loss with some NPH stuff.

On a side note, I discovered a quirky little infinite combo for white ETB triggers. It's not a viable build around, but is very possible to achieve considering it uses removal cards that can be found in any white deck. Not really relevant to this deck, just thought I'd throw it out there since it'll be seen here, in case any readers want to build with it. It requires 2 O-Rings and a Leonin Relic Warder. O-Ring (exile anything), Relic Warder (exile O-Ring), O-Ring (or Journey to Nowhere, exile Relic Warder). When Relic Warder leaves the battlefield, O-Ring will return to the battlefield and exile your other removal-enchantment, returning Relic Warder, who will again remove O-Ring. Repeat until your heart's content and break the loop by exiling something else. I wouldn't run it just for the combo, but if that amount of removal is justified in your meta, then enjoy your infinite life via Suture Priest and/or Soul's Attending, or whatever other ETB triggers you might be running :)

There we go. I just threw together a quick deck to give an example of the combo.

This looks frustrating as tits

NP is such a damn good time.

When you've got a second, would you mind taking a gander at my W/B lifegain/loss deck. I was thinking about putting it together for a while and seeing this finally gave me the push to do it. I've seen your Orzhov shenanigans and value quality input.

Thanks for the ideas - I've added Isolation Cell and Soul's Attendant to my "Summon to Slaughter" deck. Linked below if you'd honour me with feedback. ;)

Forbidden Orchard seems like it could work here, although probably only as a 2-of unless you want to add things like Engineered Plague and Zealous Persecution.

i think torpor orb is a waste of a card slot, honestly... if you don't draw it early game, it's relatively useless. and after you draw one, usually the rest are dead cards.
the guy from the magic show did a review on it, and it made sense.

I like life shift decks, and this one is one of the most fun i've seen so far. surewhynot you always produce. If someone could help me out with mine "When Walls Attack" I would appreciate it. (And any other of my decks for that matter, I had about 10 hit the site with only one comment about spelling :( )

Very nice, it would probably be rather interesting to play. Two words came to mind while I was reading through the list though: "Sanguine Bond". Like most people said though Torpor orb shuts it down though.

Blind Zealot... Geth's Verdict seems a little better and work's against Black as we.. Seems really good in this deck cause it makes them lose one life. Also, Basilisk Collor gives you alot alot more options. And the cards i mentioned stay in your curve..like it. Otherwise, i think you can make this standard if you add wall of omens and condem and oust. Really good idea for a deck

if you want take a look at mine and tell me what you think about it

Win conditions might be nice. Norns Annex is the new Ghostly Prison, so it might be a good idea to add 2/3 of those.

Also; Felidar Soveriegn. Normally when I have him out everyone starts going "OH SHIT!"

Could you possible give me a bit of input on another deck as well?

U should add the goldmane planeswalker as well as norms annex that would stop all attacks towards u and ur gaining 2 more life per turn which helps the serras ascendant

I thought about using Ajani, and might in later versions. The Annex though, is honestly a terrible card.
