Deck Description

With the recent changes to the way split cards work (a change I find very dumb) Isochron Scepter no longer works with Seek. This effectively killed the extraction deck known as "Iso-Seek", for obvious reasons given its name. Iso-Pox also got hit fairly hard, and might also be dead. The third, PAL, however...Had a chance since it is so fundamentally different from the other two. So, after quite a lot of tinkering, this is my current updated design to PAL. As you can see, it does not have Isochron Scepter. This is a very aggressive design, using Bloodghast for its speed over the slightly higher consistency granted from Monastery Mentor. I have run this through a myriad of decks and figured out the average "size" Plunge Into Darkness/Bitter Ordeal hit that I want, and this deck can deliver that. I think I might have managed to save Extraction with this, and as always any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you =]

Deck discussion for What has been lost

List is looking a little more aggressive than other, pre rules change, versions. I was saddened by losing Boom // Bust + Goblin Dark-Dwellers, but Iso-Seek took a much bigger hit than my one card trick. I like the update. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, it still has control aspects, but it's definitely pushed more to the aggro side for sure. It's how it has to be. It's an all-around dumb rule change, even if I didn't have a person connection I'd not like it...But the change literally killed Iso-Seek. That deck just can't be played anymore =/

Thanks dude =]

Made a number of changes to the mainboard and sideboard. Mostly added an Entomb package to the mainboard. Let me know what you all think! As always, any comments are greatly appreciated!

So, I just reread Entomb and only now realised that you can put any card into your graveyard, not just creatures. Which got me thinking, have you thought about adding cards that can play themselves from the graveyard? Cards with Flashback, Retrace, Aftermath, etc? Other than the Snappy interaction, here's a few that came to mind:
Comply (Failure // Comply) stops the opponent from casting a card for the turn.
Ribbons (Cut // Ribbons) is a decent finisher.
Raven's Crime, and Dream Twist can set up Surgical Extraction / Extirpate.
Saving Grasp lets you reuse Snappy.

Yeah that's the idea of an Entomb package. In this case it's almost entirely an Entomb/Snappy package, but I also have the ability to pitch Bloodghast and Riftstone Portal.

Failure to Comply was actually one of the top contenders to be in the SB, but it lost out to other things.

Raven's Crime is a perfect SB card, so thank you for reminding me of that. In many cases, its discard effect is not precise enough compared to Cabal Therapy or Thoughtseize. However, there are certain decks/games where all you want is to make your opponent discard indiscriminately, and that is where Raven's Crime is a monster of a card.
