Pack Rats is an obvious reason why this deck exists. The second reason is because Mono-Black isn't common to see in Standard play. Next Standard event, I'll try to see how well it'll do. Even if it doesn't do well against Jund Zombies or Azorius Control or whatever, it still isn't an expensive deck.
