Deck Description

Throw down creatures, pump them up with counters, unleash the fury of the hydra.

How to Play

Ideal Turns:
1.) Experiment One/ Rakdos Cackler
2.) Lotleth Troll
3.) Renegade Krasis
4.) Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch
5.) Kalonian Hydra

Keep piling on counters by evolving and discarding unnecessary creatures for lotleth. Renegade Krasis will add several more once exava and the hydra hits the field, who will immediately double those counters when he attacks on the fifth turn. The other cards (such as Rakdos's Return) add a little bit of depth, allowing you to finish your opponent if for some unlikely reason they manage to survive the hydra's wrath.

Deck discussion for Unleash the Krasis

It's not a block build with m14 stuff in it. It is however, standard. I guess that is what you mean.

I mostly meant that the deck was rotation-safe, as I placed in the description. You're right though, I'll change the title to something more accurate.

I take advantage of the great innistrad cards, and the reactions between m14 while they will still be in standard together. Right now, standard is swollen to it's bursting point. You have the largest card pool that standard has to offer right now. Neglecting a set because they are about to move out isn't going to give you the best deck possible. You might make the best R2R + as you possibly can make, but it isn't going to be the best possible deck you can make.

Innistrad cards are also getting cheaper because of the new set, so now is really the time grab them while people are still experimenting with m14. So it's easier for you to get the cards you really wanted from innistrad.

I for one, wont abandon innistrad until I have to. That doesn't mean I am not looking for things to replace, or decks to switch too.

Simply put, to play standard, you need to play the best from every block that you've been given. That's what makes it difficult to keep up with.

That is all debatable. If one does not want to simply spend the money and can still wreck face without using Innistrad then why not save the $ and start on the next set. I am currently doing the same thing. Simply put, to play standard, you just need a great deck regardless the sets you construct with.

Yea, I just like the flow of this deck already without the other sets, and it will keep it much less complicated come the end of September. Everyone will be scrambling to put together new decks and I'll already have mine fine tuned. Plus, something tells me that Theros will have a few things to help me fill in any gaps I may have now.

Cudos on the great build mate - nice to see some three colour, rotation safe aggro going strong ! The one thing I would say this deck needs is Domri Rade (probably instead of the Rakdos's Return) to continue the flow of creatures and provide a removal stick if necessary :)
