Deck discussion for Haunted Mill

Get some creatures in there, a Telemin Performance would kill you. Try milling creatures like Nemesis of reason or Hedron Crab.

I thought about that but I haven't seen anyone use any Telemin Performances in quite a while, nonetheless I could probably use them over tome scour, and get more out of it.

Them being Hedron Crabs.

I side board them for decks like this, ones that run no creatures that I can mill like crazy.

You need to get Terminate. It will bring them into Haunting range easily.
Also I'd reconsider Mind Funeral, milling 10-12 cards isn't worth 3 mana (tome scour/Glimpse of unthinkable value milling at 5 cards per mana) PtE/Archive combo is probably unnecessary tho it is nice if you have the space (you can fit it into 60 cards). You can probably remove negate/countersquall/essence scatter, PtE/cancel/agony warp can deal with most threats that get through silence effects. Get 4 exhaustion to run next to your 4 silences. Nemesis probably should be included just in case you don't pull a haunting echoes/terminate. I agree with running crabs because they are 1 drops so every land drop will mill, maybe get sac lands or fixers for them.

Archive and PtE aren't in as a combo. Archive is in because everyone runs 4 or more saclands, and having the PtE also trigger is just a bonus.
What kind of mana base are you thinking with red in as well? something like:
3 Arcane Sanctum
2 Savage Lands
3 Drowned Catacombs
3 Glaciel Fortress
2 Dragonskull Summit
2 W/B fetch
2 U/R fetch
2 Plains
2 Island
2 Swamp
2 Mountain
Is all that worth adding Terminate?

I see what you're saying about Mind Funeral, however while it is 10-12 average for three mana, that's for a single card slot rather than 2.

Exhaustion is also not in standard.

i would take out the archive traps and twincasts and put in glimpse the unthinkable and some memory erosions. also you were wondering about the mana base and i think it looks solid enough. howling mine might help you also. if you like to play flashy cards like i do then sadistic sacrament would be great for later in the game.otherwise it looks pretty good/annoying.

Everyone and their mother runs a lot of fetchlands, so the archives are worth keeping, not to mention the combo with path to exile.
Twincast is so versatile in this deck, I don't see a good reason to remove it. A huge percentage of the spells could effectively be twincasted.
Thanks for the input on the mana base.

I thought about howling mine, and it probably would help me.

You really don't need all this land with so many low cost spells-you risk mana flood

that's very true. i don't have any fnm shops around me so i never play standard or in tournaments. in all honesty if this build of the deck works then you probably shouldn't worry about trimming it down. although some way to draw into more mill cards would definitely be an asset. and to mergrave i think 22 lands in a 67 card deck is pretty light but again i don't play in standard so wtf do i really know.
