Deck Description

Red/Blue deck focused around "Whenever you cast a spell." Low cost spells combined with Kiln Fiends, Wee Dragonauts, and Gelectrodes do either deal massive damage, and just annoy the crap out of your opponents. What could be more satisfying than saying "I'm swinging for 22 unblockable damage"?

The majority of the deck consists of 1 drop instant and sorcery spells that you can use to activate your creature's abilities (specifically Kiln Fiend's +3/+0) and then attack for massive amounts of damage. The sideboard has suggestions for other low cost spells that work well in the deck, specifically the ones with Phyrexian Mana since you can cast them by paying 2 life each, even when you're tapped out, for extra boosts.

I don't know....seems like a pretty cool idea, but isn't it going to go stagnant after you burn through your starting hand? After that you're just drawing and playing only 1 spell a turn. Maybe adding some card draw would be a good idea.

Definitely. Mine has red for burn, and then blue for drawing (and a little bounce control) =]

yeah, the way I play it, the deck is only meant for 1v1s. In truth, all you need is the opening hand since you'll likely be swinging for lethal damage in a single turn. Card draw would probably be the best way to tweak it for multiplayer, throwing in some cheap draw would also pump up the kiln fiends =)
