This deck prevents Damage while waiting to play Near Death experience. There are many different ways to win with this deck. when your low you can beat them down with the Death's Shadows. If you have alot of life and you can play a Near-Death experience you can use your Wall of Blood at the end of your opponents turn to take yourself down to one and win the game.

not sure if the rituals are all that necessary. Many of your cards are below 3 while the near death experience requires 3 white. Maybe some more card draw instead such as phyrexian arena, or possibly some more defence like story circle, or maybe just removal like swords to plough

Look up "Worship"
for worship you need a creature in play though and the deck only runs 12.I agree with the tutor
Have you seen "Phyrexian Processor"? You can control your life and produce a good creature every turn. It would fit this deck very nicely.
