I might have to try that. I have some moolah burning a hole in my pocket so I may buy those thing you suggested. I may stick the extra 2 Life's Finale into my sideboard incase mass clearance is needed on a more regular basis. And are you sure about the Caresses? I've found them really useful. Maybe thats something else I should shift to the sideboard. My sideboard is basically a mish mash of cards that were in my deck but I switched out, so that kinda needs redoing lol. xD Sorry about the link spam on your decks.

Not so much of a crazy idea. Control is removal and/or counter, so red has removal...... Looks good though, maybe more Dismembers, maybe make it Red Blue for more control in the form of things like mana leak, but that sorta moves away from the Red control idea..... But you get the idea.
sure, you able to do me a favour? I have a deck I'm stuck with an not too sure what to do with it now. I want to try and get it up to tournament quality before Innistrad rotates in. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=197178
Just noticed the Skeleton Shard. Maybe play this as a black deck over a blue deck. Your choice.
Few things I can see straight off. Not enough land. You should have atleast 20 land in a 60 card deck, at least. If you only have 1 card which needs Plains mana, wouldn't it just be better to remove the Leonin and replace the Plains with Islands? Same with the swamps, I can't see anything which needs them so why not change them up to Islands? Another thing may be to find the winning combo in your deck and work around that idea so if you're playing Islands, you can put in counter spells to mess up your opponents game and keep your game going. Basic streamlining is needed here more than anything to start with. Find the thing that works the best, cut it down to that at it's most basic level and then build up from there.
0.o Thats a nasty was to use Melira in combination with Phyrexian Unlife. Only problem you may have with it is keeping it on the field. It may work once in the first round but after that, your opponent will keep a removal or counter spell back if they're black/red or blue to get rid of her.
I see what you mean sure. I wasn't sure as to what Extract meant, thought it was graveyard and exile, not just exile. And I'm one of those people who loves the card. It's nice to remove everything on the board and then be able to remove any more creature threats in your opponents graveyard.
And considering it's only 1 more mana than Day of Judgement so it's not too bad.
Fair enough, it is expensive. But I haven't found anything else to wipe the board for a black and blue deck thats in standard. I'd switch it out if I found something though.
What's not to like about it?! It kills things and extract things! Just too roundabout and complicated?
These decks got boring after the 1st one I saw.
Don't mean to be cheeky sure, but would you mind taking a look at my current deck? The link is below if you feel like it. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=197178
Life's Finale is a nice extractor card. Well, I think it's an extractor. Wipes the board and then you can put 3 creatures from your opponent's deck into the graveyard. I'd love to try making an Extractor deck myself, it looks like a powerful build if you can remove your opponent's win condition.
Aaaah. I see. Thanks Rocktopus. I've seen a lot of your decks sure and noticed a lot of Kamigawa cards in them so I guessed it was your favourite set. My favourite set is probably Alara. Gotta love Esper.
Looking like a good creatureless burn deck. Was wondering though, why not switch Furnace of Rath out for Pyromancer's ascension and make it Standard legal until Innistrad rotates in.
That's a nice looking deck there. One thing I'm wondering about though, will Bloodghast get bonuses from things like Long Forgotten Gohei as it's a Vampire Spirit over a normal Spirit. I may just be knit picking but it may make a difference. Also, you have quite the love for Kamigawa dont you?
What do you do about creatureless decks?
Try adding Corpse Cur. It's a 4 mana 2/2 with infect that when it's played returns a creature with infect from your graveyard to the battlefield. Can be very nice to play a single Corpse Cur and pull 3 others and a Phyrexian Crusader out of the graveyard at the last moment and go onto win.
I wanted to do a Tezzeret deck but after I saw the price I decided against it. I've never had much faith in the Shape Anew card. Played with it a few times on DotP 2012 and it's just an annoying card which never gets you what you want...... Also, what is your plan B incase Shape Anew gets countered, goes wrong or the Colossus gets killed? If you don't mind, have a loook at the infect deck that I put together. Gotta love Phyrexian Crusaders, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=197178
How about just simple and plain RUB? Grixis Control all the way.
