Would 1 Stormtide Leviathan be good?

I like it! Can easily be upgraded with Eidolon of Blossoms, Armada Wurm, and many other things to make it a fantastic deck.

I am primarily sticking towards a build that will stay within standard for a year or so. So I won't be adding in any Gatecrash for that reason. However I do like the idea, but Fathom Mage + Bioshift would be quite a hassle just to get the one combo off, and I feel that there are easier ways to get the same job done :3

Thanks for the input though!

I originally put Life's Legacy into this deck because I pulled 2 of them at a prerelease, but I am hesitant towards using it for now. I love the card, I am just on edge about it. Definitely a sideboard card though!

I agree that the mana curve is leaning more toward the mid game, but Bident is good for card draw if the Horizon Chimera or any of the squiddies connect. If you are looking for a more reliable card draw, divination or Jace's Ingenuity would be better. Thanks for the tip!

Hunter's prowess can be good for sideboarding, but the lack of evasion makes things iffy with it.

If you like this deck, take a look at my U/G deck featuring the squid master Chasm Skulker :D

1-2 Aetherspouts in a deck can turn a losing game instantly into a win. If running control I always recommend running it at the very least in sideboard.

I would suggest running some slightly bigger burn. Stoke the Flames and Cone of Flame do some real work with Chandra.

Also some of the best counterspells in the game right now are Essence Scatter, Negate, and Dissolve so be sure to keep them in mind.

And Satyr Firedancer, get em.

Oh, and maybe 1 or 2 Epic Experiment?!?!

Love the deck man, I am building one similar to it currently and it's helping me out!

Thaumaturd is only good if going for spells that target creatures. If running those type of cards, he can be beneficial, but I believe that would be counterproductive since you want to burn the other player out :3

However, Thamaturd + Cone of Flame can be cast for 2, which is just SICK!!!

Tis a shame that you do not run Shrek, for Shrek is love, and Shrek is all powerful. Praise him!

I just did. And it's a good idea. I would drop the Syncopates for them
