The first thing I would say is lose mana leak. In my opinion this is the most overrated card in magic. Just do proper counterspells, they're a hundred times better. If you're hung up on modern, just get the jace versus Chandra one. I know they're overpriced, but you seem to have money. For the same reasons, I would say ditch incinerate for lightning bolt, I mean who even uses regenerate these days anyway? Apart from that, I can only really suggest draw spells like compulsive research. Better still though would be reforge the soul, as well as speeding up the deck, it woul combo perfectly with sword of w/p. You should check it out buddy.

I really need to start differentiating this at the beginning. This deck is standard, not modern. This is the deck i'm building for FNM.
Oh ok. Well in that case the only suggestion worth consideration is reforge the soul. What do you reckon?

Yeah, I knew you wouldn't like wheel of fortune cause it's ancient. But this is like the new version. I'm gonna get a set myself at some point for my mono red burner. I just thought it would fill your hand back up so you can keep dropping spells like crazy for the pike.
