Sorry for posting this here, couldn't find the answer elsewhere. If you ashiling @ 40 with an equipped batterskull, assuming nobody is above 40, and pop her does everyone lose or do you gain the life before totals are checked?
As far as I'm aware, you would gain the life at the exact same time as damage, so you would be alive while everyone one else is roasted to a crisp. Basilisk Collar also turns into pretty much a board wipe every time you set get off. Dat deathtouch.
