Deck Description

The Sphinx is here to reveal the past of your opponent, witness everything and use the full extent of the law to judge your opponent to there death!

How to Play

I know my description wasn't the greatest this time but someone challenge me to make a Sphinx deck and here it is. Like the past two other decks I will divide the sections into monster by type and the last sections will be all about the spells.

To start off I'll say the key component of the deck is Arbiter of the Ideal, she is a 6 drop for a 4/5 but her effect makes up for all the mana used on her, whenever she is untapped you may reveal the top card of your deck and if it's a creature, artifact, or land summon it onto the field with a manifestation counter meaning they will be consider a enchantment plus their other typing. She can help summon your other 6 drops quicker without having to pay for them and to make things better they don't enter the battlefield tapped which makes them usable right away. Just remember that green has lots of cards to destroy enchantments so beware of how to use your cards. Isperia, the Supreme Judge is just a giant beat stick that lets you draw cards when being attacked but she is just there to kick some butt and for her looks ;). As for Medomai the Ageless he is your 6 drop extra turn creature with flying, I mean if you don't enjoy punching your opponent and going straight for seconds then your not here to win, his only downside is that he can't attack in the Extra Turns but no problem we have other creatures to beat your opponent with. I know she is not a Sphinx but she deserves to be with this magnificent creatures, Ephara, God of Polis. She is a Goddess that is indestructible plus everything in here is blue and white so she should be easy to give her the devotion she needs, but if your not comfortable with her you can move her to the Sideboard no hard feelings.

Now for the smaller drops, Omenspeaker is a great card in this deck she gives you 2 scry so you can get to your Sphinx quicker or any other cards plus if needed she makes sure your Arbiter of the Ideal reveals the right card for you to summon, unfortunately her effect only activates when she is summon. Never fear Tinkerbell is here, well a weird alien blue one, anyways Quickling is very important she has flash and she needs to return a creature during her summon making your Omenspeaker recyclable now you can see the combos here. Let's not forget that the deck is based around some Azorius law so New Prahv Guildmage is a must in the deck, we will mostly be using his first ability but the second ability is there is needed, giving one creature flying until the end of the turn isn't bad but let's see the bigger picture. Sage of Hours is our New Prahv Guildmage best friend if you give Sage of Hours the ability to fly he gets a +1/+1 counter which makes your Sage stronger and we also setup for our future ability, to remove five +1/+1 counters of the Sage for an extra turn, now we are talking. Unfortunately the Prahv and the Sage together won't be quick enough for us so adding the Simic Fluxmage was must have, his ugly merfolk face will become your new sunshine giving the fact he evolves every time something stronger enters the field and he can pass one of his +1/+1 counter to another creature, meaning that if you target you Sage he gets one +1/+1 counter and another +1/+1 counter because of your merfolk. Not bad huh.

Everyone's favorite part the spells Ephara's Enlightment is our first target giving a creature +1/+1 and flying with an extra reusable ability of bouncing back the card to your hand when a creature enters the field, give this enchantment to your Sage and the extra turn will come in like crazy, as for Skygames this card gives a land the ability to tap it self to give a creature flying as well once more targeting your Sage to give him flying with a +1/+1 counter...we are on a role here. Righteous Authority is the most expensive enchantment in the deck, but nevertheless it makes up for himself giving as many +1/+1 counter to a creature according to the amount of cards the controller has, plus a free draw every turn it's insane. As for Azorius Charm I think I don't need to go in depth with this card it's a stable in almost all blue white decks. Uncovered Clues is just a small sorcery card to peek at the top four and see if any of the Azorius Charms are there or to get the Hidden Strings, which is my personal favorite blue card. Hidden Strings needs to be used wisely and for sure things will play off, this card lets you TAP or UNTAP any two cards on the field, example Sage of Hours with Arbiter the Ideal, tap your Arbiter then untap her reveal the top card if it's a land, creature, or artifact place it onto the field; then cipher the card onto Sage of Hours giving him a +1/+1 counter attack with him and Arbiter; then activate the Cipher ability of Hidden Strings target the Sage and the Arbiter; remember to reveal and summon if it's possible then attack again...do you guys see the combo....AWESOME!!!

We wanted to defeat our opponents and ended up breaking time :) Thanks for reading please remember to comment, leave suggestions or ask any questions!!
