Deck Description

As the people of Ravnica sleep peacefully, Jarad slowly increases the number of creatures in his army and this time he invited a very venomous being, The Spider...learn to use the dead to your advantage and feast off the nightmares that your opponent will suffer as you and your creatures will grow stronger and stronger.

How to Play

As the description stated Jarad is your key component to winning most of the times, but nevertheless we always need a backup plan, so elves and spiders make a devastating combo. I will divide the explanation into three different sections one for elves, one for spider, and one for the instants and sorcery.

So to start off we got Elvish Mystic, this card is pretty self explanatory but just to clear things up you will most of the times use him to pay for green mana costs, our second one mana card is Deathrite Shaman he gives you three options tap him to add any one mana in exchange of banishing a land; or pay one black tap him and banish a sorcery or instant from A graveyard to inflict 2 damage to your opponent; or pay one green tap him and banish a creature from A graveyard to gain 2 life. Now to clear things up why do I keep writing A in caps, well the card says from A graveyard meaning that if your opponent has something in his grave you don't trust then banish it and you either gain life or he/she loses life. Gyre Sage is the other mana giver in the deck and it has evolve which makes her to good to avoid, as simple as possible, for every creature that enters the field (yours our your opponent) that is stronger than her she gets a +1/+1 counter and for the cherry on top she gives you one green mana for each +1/+1 counter, which makes her a great mana source and/or a great beat stick. Now for Korozda Guildmage she basically has two abilities one gives your creature a +1/+1 counter and intimidate; or she can sacrifice a creature to give you X amount of 1/1 tokens with X being the creatures power, example if you sacrifice her you get two 1/1 tokens because her power is 2. Finally our last Elf is Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord his the beat stick of the deck giving the fact that when he is summon he gets +1/+1 counters for each creature in your grave not to mention that you can sacrifice a creature to burn your opponent for that much damage (which by the way is the creatures power) and when your opponent thinks that he got over Jarad you may sacrifice a Forest and a Swamp to get him back to your hand.

Now to get to the spiders, they are not everyone's favorite creatures but i'm trying to make them useful and thanks to how magic progresses I got them a good home, enough with the sentimental stuff and say hello to Deadly Recluse the one spider that will always protect you from flying creatures and from beat sticks thanks to her deathtouch. Jungle Weaver is one big spider but we are not here to summon her, we are going to use her Cycling ability to discard her and get one draw, this comes in handy because you get to draw a card and you get one more monster in the grave for your Jarad. Nyx Weaver gives momentum to the deck by milling top two cards of your library and you can exile it to get one card from your grave for three mana. Our last creature card is Vraska the Planeswalker she is there for winning condition and to be an extra beat stick.

Our final section is the instant and sorcery cards, just as a fair warning all cards in this section are very low in numbers and you need to use them wisely, the Aspect of Hydra is our one green mana cost instant card which gives us a boost according to how much devotion we have towards green. Golgari charm is our back up if our creatures get destroyed we regenerate them; or to destroy an enchantment that is annoying you. Necrobite is also another back up plan to get rid of your opponents monsters and you can regenerate the creature if it dies. Savage summoning is great for one green mana, giving us the chance to summon monsters in our opponents turn is a plus one any day and to give full sunshine to your day that creature comes into the field with a +1/+1 counter. Finally, the glue of the deck Serene Remembrance you will need to see what you need from your grave back into your deck, this card is the only back up you got to return cards from the grave back into your deck, so just like before see what combo pieces your missing and get those back.

Thanks for reading and hopefully you enjoyed the deck please leave any suggestions, questions, or comments for me down below. Have Fun :)
