U/W Flash. Well the last Standard with Torrential Gearhulk showed us that the deck had legs. Why shouldn't it now? Going forward with the release of Ravnica: Allegiance next year, and the expected Azorius guild cards, I think for the price, we should get into these very good underrated cards for the coming year. Also, we have a spicy Azor plan out of the board as well!
Fresh from testing it, and those of you who looked at the previous versions will see the necessary changes. Dumped the Memorial to Glory. It's such a bad card in this deck. And there's serious ??? over the inclusion of Field of Ruin. But I didn't think it deserved a spot in the board, when the main deck could support the necessary copies.Critically, this is a control deck in the classic Azorius style. You should almost never be on the front foot, instead taking advantage of flash and your instant speed game plan. So long as you're casting Raff on your opponent's turn, everything will work out much the better. This deck eats up Tempo decks like Gab Nassief's GP Lille Deck, I'm still giving it the tests against B/G and Mono R. I'll probably adjust the sideboard afterwards, because i'm looking at those Amulets to keep me safe from tokens and make burning me or my cards more expensive. And naming Banefire against the Mono R deck with Sorcerous Spyglass after sideboard will finish off many a mage.I'll come back and let you know my findings. Thanks for getting this far!
