The only problem with Kalonian Tusker is that it isn't standard. Otherwise I would run it in this deck.
Actually MooCow, you can have more than one legendary on the battlefield as long as the legendary's aren't the same card.

The only problem that I wouldn't run the cards you suggested is because it would make the deck too slow.This deck doesn't have many high drops so the mana boosters wouldn't really help. Plus, some of the cards you suggested aren't even standard!!!P.S. I already run aspect of hydra. :)

The reason I wouldn't run hardened scales in this deck because it does something only if I get Avatar of the Resolute on the battlefield. This means that most of the time it will be a dead card.
