Deck Description

This is a deck that will be a new experience every time you play it, frustrate your opponents to no end and operate on very little mana. It's heavily dependent on the graveyard - but if your opponents side board is rife with tormod's crypts and other graveyard killers, it should still work fine as a creature-assault deck.

The basic strategy is to use Survival of the Fittest, Hermit Druid and Firestorm to fill your graveyard up with big creatures then use Necromancy and Recurring Nightmare to get them into play quickly.

Use Phantom Nishobas and Spike Feeders to keep your health up. Use Uktabi Orangutan, Nekrataal and Cloudchaser Eagle to deal with pesky enchantments, artifacts or creatures.

And when things are getting out of your control, throw a Living Death to turn the game on it's head. Just before living death, sap all the counters off your spike feeders for life, discard Faerie Macabres to remove creatures from opponents graveyards, and block with any creature you can to move as many creatures as possible to your graveyard.

It's really easy to shut this deck down - so beware of Tormod's crypts or ground seals. Even without your graveyard, though, the deck will operate relatively efficiently!

Deck discussion for 1000 Graveyards

You have a good knowledge of old pretty cards, i dont get the sliver queen thou?

You could swap it out for another rainbow creature. It's benefit is that you could still potentially cast it for cheap using plentiful rainbow mana sources if your recsur combo wasn't working out. Plus you can sacrifice sliver tokens to survival of the fittest.

could use a bit of work. cards like the sliver queen and the orangutan seem useless.

but i like the idea so far, i was thinking of making something like this as well.
