Deck discussion for Wishful Thinking

Tiiiiiight. +1 for the summary, +1 for the idea.

One suggestion... Why not add in Gilder Bairn and Senaei's Divining Top?

I play standard, and didn't want this deck to be not-standard.

Whoops. Didn't even notice the fact that this was T2. My bad.

could work though you might be putting too much faith in the survival of those djinns. Will the deck survive if they kill of your djinns before you can wish?
Would be better if it wasn't T2 and you had access to brainstorm and counterspells.

Essentially, it's just Cruel Control. The Djinn/Sage Owl/Ponder allows for a possibility of a end of turn Cruel/Bolas. If they kill the Djinn's thats fine. That's why Sphinx of Jwar Isle is in side board. Sideboard in Sphinx of Jwar isle, and render their removal useless. But to answer your question, yes. It just uses the Sage Owls and Ponders in such a way to "stack the deck" instead of wishing a cruel at end of turn.

I'd like to recommend removing Sage Owl for Augury Owl and Ponder for Preordain maybe x3 and throw in a Foresee because of the "Scry" wording. It allows you to opt to keep those top cards if they happen to be good wishing or toss them to the bottom of the deck if you scry for 2 or 4 lands (Almost useless at that point in the game) So say you're about to use a wish and instead of Pondering for 3 Islands and having to wait maybe two turn before your next Ponder/Wish You could Scry, toss those lands to the bottom of the deck and maybe scry again or just take a chance and Wish for a Vess or Cruel or even a Bolas.
