Hmmm, lots of singletons. I would suggest using multiples of your best cards.

Black and Blue make good control decks. You could even go white, black and blue for esper.

Cards like Royal assassin are good. Might not need Blue honestly if your going for tapping lock. Lots of white and black tap and destroy (I.e. vengeance, assassinate, sunblast angel, deathstroke, deathbringer liege)

But even still blue cards like ice cage are good too. Ballynock trapper is good stasis is pretty common for control when put with frozen æther/loxodon gatekeeper/Kismet

So its up to you i guess. I hope this helps.

Stasis isnt to expensive either.

i would say change out the alluring siren and clones, for phyrexian metamorphs. maybe take out the angelic shield for sunblast angel. take out one claustrophobia and ghostly touch for 2 more sleeps? this looks like a really solid deck though good job!

Drop Whitesun's Passage and Angelic Shield, neither does enough to help your cause. Replace them with 4x Feeling of Dread, that card is crazy good and, being a current-block common, it should be easy to get.

Another switch to consider is Narcolepsy over Claustrophobia. It's one mana cheaper and while it doesn't tap the creature permanently, the repeated retapping combos nicely with Avenger. :D

Jhessian Balmgiver is in the same boat as the first two cards: all it really does is give some very minor defense. Also, while Transcendent Master can be awesome, again, it really doesn't mesh with your theme. Consider replacing them with a 4th Lawkeeper, another Sleep/Misstep/Wall of Frost/O-Ring. Minister of Impediments could be switched out for any number of lower-costing creatures that do the same thing (ex. Blinding Mage, Goldmeadow Harrier, ) or another tap spell (ex. Plumes of Peace, Gigadrowse).

Dauros had some good suggestions for the B/W version, too, if you want a more "aggressive" control instead of blue's "prevention" control. Really, just using the Card Search here can give you a lot of options. :)

i agree with what you said about whitesun and angelic but i like the balmgiver for the unblockable with a 9/9 avenger unblockable is a nice win i like UW because it allows me to use gideon and Tamiyo (i have two of each) . The narcolepsy is a very good call. and the reason why i like minister is because his ability doesnt cost anything where as the two you mentioned cost a white to activate. IN the long run i feel minister cost less for the same thing. I do like gigadrowse ill need to find a place for it.

Okay, I can see your reasoning for the Minister. :) I just worry about having too much in the 3+ CC area. Your 1-2 slots are a little barren and the first few turns can be utterly crucial with control. Also, with only 20 land and no draw spells, you're going to be VERY tight for land. I don't agree with everything Cravis says below (especially about removing Narco) but I do agree that you need to sub out some cards for land.

This is the crazy part of deck-building with other people: conflicting advice. XD

I have some draw stuff (mikokoro and Tamiyo)but I agree that i could use more draw cards. what would you put in and take out?

I think you can add flood /freed from the real to pump up gideon's avenger and use whispersilk cloak or something to finish with him

freed from the real is a good call i llike the continous ability and the untap/ tap i was thinking about adding mikaeus the lunarch and using his ability in combination to untap him would allow to get a +1/+1 counter each turn

Sunblast has worked wonders for me in my tap deck. As has frost breath and sleep.
Have a look.

Your winning condition is Attacking with your Angels and Titans? I think you should concentrate on tapping instead and use it as your win condition too.
Here's how you should do.
(Azorius Chancery must be in play)
1.) Cast Fatestitcher (good tapper/untapper)
2.) Cast Freed from the Real on Fatestitcher (Freed from the real can be casted on your opponent's creature too)
3.) Tap Azorius Chancery to produes {W}{U}, untap the land using Fatestitcher, use {B} to untap Fatestitcher, Tap Azorious Chancery to produce more manas, rinse, repeat to get infinite mana.
4.) Cast Blue Sun's Zenith, Braingeyser, Stroke of Genius on Opponent. (Can be casted to self too if the combo pieces is still non-exsitent.

Btw, hope you could check out my decks too:

There is good, and there is bad here. You have a great idea and direction, just need help with card choices:

1) 4 Sleeps is way too many, I would suggest dropping down to 2 instead. You don't want to see 2 or more sleeps in your opening hand.

2) Misstep is a funny card, but Sleep is far better.

3) Norn's annex is a bit useless in this deck, since your goal should be "tap all the creatures", the walls of Frost and Denial serve you well if your tap control is not in hand.

4) Ghostly Touch is amusing, but I would rather op for 2 Frost Breath. It's an instant so you can react to the attack step, tap down those nasty creatures you don't want swinging. Or you could use it on the offensive and tap down two creatures before they can be declared blockers.

5) I would suggest Dropping Narcolepsy entirely for more land. You have a lot of high costing stuff in your deck (Sleep, Gideon, Sunblast, Tam and Titans) and you will want to see a land every turn.

So in total:
Going out:
-1 Norn's Annex, -2 Sleep, -4 Narcolepsy, -2 Ghostly Touch, -1 Misstep

+1 Wall of Frost, +3 Wall of Denial, +2 Frost Breath, +4 lands

Hope this helps :)

Great deck! Just add 2 more frost titans and you got it made.

4 Frost would be far too much of a good thing. If this was G/U, maybe. Hitting six mana means finally having the mana to lock down the board; tapping out for Frostie more than once or twice could hurt more than help.

I would add a /tumble magnet/ you can tap one creature per turn when its on the field.

I like the idea of tumble magnet but for a three mana drop and it only last three turns in this deck i feel that the card spots could go to better use. I will keep it in mind and I might add it

My suggestion might sound unoriginal, but.

I think this deck works wonderful against most creatures. But it's not covering other areas.

For additional safety, I'd add some utility cards like disenchant or mana leak. You can never have too many. Also, Sunblast kinda ruins the combo for me. You don't want to destroy the opponent creatures because what's the point, you're tapping them (and thus making gideon avenger a BEAST).

I didnt think about that and after i played with some of my friends i realized that sunblast destroys every tapped creature (mine included) so i think i will take them out thank you for the idea!

you could also do this put in palace guard and attach ghostly possession so you have almost a unkillable monster for combat add either flicker or cloudshift with sunblast angel for controlled use of her and anything else with come into play effects which helps you not kill your own creatures i hope this helps you for more possibilites and a possible sideboard

These are cards that I have gotten from booster boxes. $50 comes from planeswalkers (I got in booster packs) and $15 comes from a few cards I have got through trade and booster packs. So in truth i use what I have and this is what transpired.
