Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.


Deck Description

Playing this is pretty straightforward. Ramp your mana/creatures untill you get darksteel reactor, then boost it with charges.
Combos:
Play chalice without kicking it. Instead, play coretapper for the mana you'd kick it for, then tap coretapper and sacrifice to to put a total of 3 charge counters on the chalice. Thus you got 3 mana for 2's price!

Use prototype portal with coretapper or energy chamber to ramp the number of charges you can get a turn to ludicrous amounts.

Surge noding the chalice will, theoretically, cost no mana, as you add a 1 colorless mana effect to it at the price of 1 mana.

If you get a lux cannon, get it a charge and keep charging it. The opponent can't do jack if he got no mana or creatures, amirite?

If you got a bunch of coretappers + a reactor, and you're afraid the enemy will go ham on you for having it, go sacrifice them all for 2 counters at the end of their turn if it'll get you to 20.

If you don't fancy losing your artifacts to removal and such, take the infuser out and replace it with the leonin abunas (and change the islands to plains ofc) Can be slower, potentially, but more safe. If it is too slow, kick out the chimeric mass in favour of tezzeret's gambit. Do be wary it WILL cost you health.

Deck discussion for Charging up

What about adding a combo set like:

Training grounds
Viral Drake
Another Palladium Myr
Myr Galvanizer
Blue Sun Zenith or Braingyser

The Viral Drake then gives you a way to proliferate like mad with training grounds, and the myrs give you the ability to go infinite for either a braingyser to the face or by infinite proliferation from the drake.

Running Training grounds also opens up a ton of other opportunities.

I don't want to rely too much on myrs for 2 reasons: 1: only a third of my main "free" source of charge counters is from myrs, and 2: i already did that in my Hellkite tyrant myr deck, and while "if it works, don't fix it" is a valid point, innovation leads to new paths.
Training grounds currently doesn't benefit me all that much for me to deem worth it. Lowers cost of prototype portal by 1-2 (what i want to copy with it costs 2 mana, so 1 mana reduction due to "no less than 1". Contagion engine benefits from it, yes, but putting 4 cards in the deck for the sake of 3 cards is in my own opinion silly. Coupled with me planned to put locus' in the deck (you couldn't have known, i won't judge), keeping the amount of blue mana costs as low as possible is prefered. About braingeyser, i keep my decks modern (because derp) and i doubt card advantage will be my downfall.

Sidenote: Can't be infinite proliferation from the drake, as it will end up as 1U... Palladium is 2 colorless, and so is everflowing chalice.

I understand the reasons for turning down the suggestions, but let me clear some things up about WHY I selected some of the cards:

1: There's no interaction with Training Grounds and your current deck, as it only affects creatures. It works with the Viral Drake I suggested, which as you noted, ends up at 1U. This 1U is really repeatable, though, and what you currently have for proliferate effects is limited by the amount of tapping you can do. With a blue mana myr, you could hit the cost any number of times with the galvanizer loop.

2: If you have enough mana, blue sun Zenith/ Braingyser can be used as an offensive weapon, it isn't just for your card advantage. You can deck them. BSZ does have a high blue cost though.

Alright then, Imagine i'd go with your TG/viral drake/blue and galv myr stuff. Now, as you imagine this, Tell me what i should cut. I know from experience i need lots of capability of applying charge counters without there already being one(i.e. proliferate), so the coretapper, infuser and energy chamber are set in stone. Thats already 16 cards including darksteel reactor.
