Thank you for your time taken to comment on my deck Muktol. I appreciate your valuable input. I will concider your personal thoughts if I ever need to rebuild in order to tone it down a bit because it has never lost a game yet.

WoW, thanx so much. That is an amazingly detailed and thorough breakdown of my deck. I will take all that you have said into consideration. Its true, karona is in there because I do not own any other 5 color legends. I do have some fetch lands from mirage, so I can add them. I have most but but not all of the other cards that you suggest. Again Thank you very much for your input. I will definitely change a few things around to make it more playable. Cheers Mate :)

No, defiantly not in vain mate. I dunno what others think, but this site is a major inspiration to my own deck building. I utilize this site constantly. Cheers :) .....actually, now that you mention it, I would like to get your opinion (if and when you have time) on https://www.mtgvault.com/thedarkwolf/decks/5-color-death-punch/
and the 60 card version
https://www.mtgvault.com/thedarkwolf/decks/60highlander5colordeathpunch/
I have not played much EDH and your thoughts and expert input on these 2 decks would be greatly valued. As you can see I have made a commander deck and also strip it down to us as just a relatively normal 60 card "Highlander Style" deck.
They both usually work ok and they are only ever played in a casual kitchen table environment. Thanx

There is only 1 card that I can see may be missing from this deck, and that is Library of Leng.

No worries mate. I find your decks an inspiration to my own deck building. I do not know alot of the new cards and reading through your descriptions and play style gives me ideas to add new cards to my "old skool" decks :)

I have just gone and compared all of the cards that you suggested and I have come to the conclusion that:

1. Living Death allows others to get creatures out of the GY aswell .....NO WAY HO ZAY.

2. Iname : Seizan.

3. Returning a creature to the play tapped for 2 mana is not better that a regen creature for 1

4. Mind maggots kicks the snotblisters out of hidden horror. there is just no comparing them.

5. Bloodghast is awesome,

Thanx for your input.

I like your deck. Red and Blue go together so well. Cheese and Crackers is what we used to call red and blue, because it was full of cheezy counterspells in blue and crackling destruction from the red :) I find that there are so many great red/blue combos out there that it is hard to build just 1. I usualy have atleast 2. At the moment I only have 1 red/blue and it is also an Izzet based deck, built arount Izzet, Firemind though. I like your strategy although with Thassa, God of the Sea in there, I would definatly concider Izzet, the Firemind or 2 into the mix.

:)

Hey dude. Well, what I mean by "old school" rules is:

1. The player who goes 1st still draws a card. The game works perfectly fine when 1st player draws on 1st turn.

2. Most of the "restricted" to 1 card rule cards are not restricted. I use 4 dark rituals and always will...and there are plenty of others.

3. Most of the banned cards are still playable. As long as they are not ante cards unless we are playing for ante....which does happen from time to time. Even ghost ante is fun.

4. Artifacts like W. Orb can be turned off with Icy M.

5. Mana Burn happens at the end of your turn and mana does not drain after each phase, it stays in the mana pool untill the end of the turn then DAMAGES the active player if there is any left after discard phase.....
....and there are probably another dozen or so rules that I cannot think of right now that I and many of my mates still use that will no longer be used if I go and play with some random dude at the card shop.

Thanks for the head up about Energy flux and sol ring. I will check that out as I did not know that it could be used like that.

Most people are probably intimidated by too many words, so they wont read much, like you say: if its not a tweet of 250 chars then no-one wants to read it.
Like Jessie says: Theres is probably not much to say, because you do such a thorough job already so therte is nothing for anyone to say.

Keep up the good work mate.

btw: I read everything you say and concider it all carefully. I apprecciate any input that I get from anyone.

Thanx again. You Rock Dude.

ps.you said "Then you might also not know that now you can use permanents during their upkeep even before they have been payed for. Let's say there an Energy Flux in play. A Sol Ring can now tap and pay for itself."
Ofcorse it can I have always been able to do that in my circle of players.
