The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

I know I'm not the only one who saw some stompy potential in this recent block. This is a standard deck I plan on trying out(after some modification) at a small WNM.

I only have 15 lands, but I feel like I'm able to pull enough out of my deck with creatures, or just use elf mana. I may even drop it down a bit and adjust the creature curve a bit.

Lead the Stampede is just fantastic since 50% of the deck is made up of creatures.

I was thinking about Hunger of the Howlpack since it's an awkward pseudo Giant Growth type spell, but I'll probably just stick with Mutagenic Growth since it's less conditional and it's free.

Let me know if I'm missing anything really badass.

Deck discussion for nu-stomp

very close to my deck, but we have little differences... which is always good :)

I would add Gnaw to the Bone, keeps you life a lot longer...

Might be a sideboard card for me. We'll see. I like your land and creature numbers. And yeah, we have the same goal but slightly different routes taken.

i dont love the ghoultree or dawn treder elk and since you have the lawnwar elves i would go up to 4 predator ooze, because dropping one on t2 is devastating i also dont really like the one wolf bitten captive why not take them out and add dungrove elder or thrun those cads are just a huuuuge pain. im also not loving ranger's guile either why not throw in green suns zenith instead or beast within for permanenet removal and you can use it on yorself! i would also add a few more lands

Definitely not adding more lands. I have no problems with mana at all. No GSZ either, no point when I'm drawing creatures pretty much every turn. It would just take up a slot meant for a creature. I do have a Thrun in the physical deck, not sure how I missed it when I put this up. The Captive is just a nice little 1/1 that can be huge if I'm hanging on to creatures. I'll admit it is a little random and a bit out of place but he can be fun. I'm not sold on Ghoultree yet, and the Elks are kinda clunky but I love that they pull lands out of my library. I will add more Predator Ooze for sure, once I get more. Beast Within is in the sideboard, but my sb list isn't finalized yet so I was waiting to put one up.

I'll probably end up dropping the captive and tree for the ooze. Thanks for the input.

30/15/15. Creatures/Lands/Spells. Nice and crisp. Ghoultree taunts me, I like it... I don't like it... I'll probably keep it in for the next small tourney.
