Deck Description

Basically In This Deck im going to try to make angels/darksteel (in a type 2 mannor) a little faster and just as successfull as they always are.My other goal is to have a good control basis so they dont have many
chances to do much to me any suggestions please comment.

Deck discussion for Because God Wishes You To Win update

i'd replace journey to nowhere with path to exile, take out one djinn of wishes and put in another sage owl because you dont have too many low costing creatures. maybe some mana accel wouldn't hurt either like birds of paradise. good start! i like the idea +1

I suppose its pretty good, but I don't see the point in a few of your cards... You don't have any forests, so Stoic Angel and Empyrical Angel can only be played normally with seaside citadel, which you only have 3 of. I suppose you have Djinn too, but even then thats not many cards to help you out. Also, Emeria the Sky Ruin, in order to use its other effect, you would have to have all of your plains in play before you played it, which means you might have to put off playing it for awhile. I think there are simply better cards for you then these. For instance, consider a wall of denail. Against a fast deck, like a goblin deck, this deck would stand no chance. Sure, you have some protection, but a Wall of Denial could really help you out until you can get Djinn out.
Good Luck.

This deck is actually pretty horrible and 100% not tournament ready because it is just too slow.

It has few protections and basically your game is going to look like you having high costing cards in you hand and playing all your spells to counter just to surive and maybe 1 or two creatures before you get overrun.

If by the off-chance you do surivie your life points are going to look so bad that you will be looking for Battlegrace Angel because it is the only card that might do something. Lots of cards don't even synergize with each other.

Basically you have no card drawing power. Your only win plan is Djinn of Wishes or if you stall till like turn 20. You can hard cast a huge creature.

2.0/5.0 in my opinion

Oh, it's a lot better now, though I would think there are cheaper and better creatures than Darksteel Colossus.

I mean Colossus is fine, but it doesn't really give you that much board control except it's gonna just plain crush and smash. Great against decks that focus on weak creatures and lots of them. But if your up against Elves and they got like 20/20 pumped up giant Elves by like turn 10 (which is very possible). It won't really do much except sit there and act as a fat body guard.

Maybe replace it with a creature that can pretty much win the game better than Darksteel Colossus, and maybe cheaper?

running 3 darksteel's only makes you vulnerable. As they would be "dead draws" for the first 11 turns of the game, if you truly want to run them cut it down to 1.
