I was trying to make a low-cost Izzet deck that is successful, and does not have to be complete to function. A great example is substituting an instant or sorcery for Krenko's Command, but the creatures should NOT be changed, unless you are adding in more of a creature, that my original deck didn't have space for.

I love Izzet, but I don't think Quicken is worth playing with just 6 sorceries. Maybe you should try something like Guttersnipe or Young Pyromancer instead.

I only put quicken in there as a filler spell, so that nivmagus elemental can get 2 +1,+1 counters each turn
