Deck Description

Yeah, it's pretty much the same R/U artifact deck everyone else came up with after seeing the M15 cards with just slight variations between decks. The combinations are just so natural that I decided it wasn't worth trying for something too unique. If it aint broke don't fix it I suppose, so here is my slight variation. I have one Phyrexian Revoker right now. If I stumble into more he might take the place of Bronze Sable, but I don't value his ability enough in this deck to go buy him as singles.

How to Play

The classic approach, Ornithopters, Generator Servants and Engineers to start. Ensoul an Ornithopter or Darksteel Citadel for that 5/5 flyer or indestructible so early it's hardly fair. Convoke into the Juggernaut or better the Scuttling Doom Engine. Sac the Generator Servant for a haste 5/3 trample Scrapyard Mongrel (aka the junkyard dog). Drop an Aeronaut Tinkerer along the way for some more pesky flying. Keep swinging like your bad aggro self wants to. Finally, wash it all down with a Shrapnel Blast sacing the Scuttling Doom Engine for that 11 to the face.

Deck discussion for Engineered Aggro

Yep, this deck does kind of make itself.
Going to check and see if the prices have went up on a few of these cards.

Wow, surprised, most of them did not go up in price.
Maybe sideboard Polymorphist's Jest against aggro decks.

ohh I like that card for impact and hilarious factor. I suck at doing sideboarding. I get so attached to what I stuck in the main that when it comes time to sideboard I can't get myself to figure out what to pull out. Any suggestions on how many jests you'd have in the sideboard (3x or go all on 4) and which cards you might drop down during the swap to go better against an aggro deck?

Jest makes your Doom Engine unblockable, fyi.
Not sure what to take out if you added them to the Sideboard.

Hadn't even thought about that added benefit. Penciled in 3 to the sideboard for now. If you have a chance I wouldn't mind some advice on another deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/thekraken/decks/budget-you-can-count-on-me/. I've been trying to figure out something around Chasm Skulker for a while. The complete sellout draw decks don't seem to cut it. I think Hardened Scales could be the secret to making him work.
