Deck Description

Opened a Preeminent Captain along with some other soldier cards during a casual M15 booster box sealed battle against one of my buddies and had enough fun with him that I decided he needed his own purpose built deck. The idea is pretty simple: Have a bunch of soldier cards that the Captain can bring to the battle for free with what essentially equates to haste. Have a bunch of stuff that causes anthem effects across the entire army. Have some engines to churn out tokens and grow the army.

How to Play

Preeminent Captain as soon as you can. Then dump free soldiers into play. Convoke the Obelisk of Urd as soon as you can to make even your tokens pretty decent.

Swapped out Brave the Elements for Rootborn Defenses so the army won't be as vulnerable to "destroy all creatures" cards.

On second thought, I think Rootborn Defenses in the sideboard and Brave the Elements back in the main. Brave the Elements is just too good being able to both give some level of evasion and protection. Rootborn Defenses can take the spot of Brave the Elements or Sanctified Charge depending on the deck being faced if there is a big threat of board wipe.
