The life gain is impressive. I love this! Combo with zuran and crucilbe. That alone is awesome.

Lands aren't spells

I'm not sure I understand the combo, could you add the description to the "how to play" portion of the page?

fastbound, cruible and landfall. that's what the combo is. turn two he plays the cobra, sacrifices a land, replays it as many times as he wants and throws in all other cards on his hand. i'd like a little less fetch and a little more duallands but he goes infinite on turn 2

But why the fetch land and not forest?

First of all you will need some forests and why fetch?
Because fetch land will keep going to your graveyard and returning to the field
And every time it returns landfall activates, forests can't do that

Yeah, you need forests for the fetch lands to fetch as well as needing them for mana sources.

The combo is weird, but it does indeed work.

Nice casual deck! There are no defenses, but I like the idea of comboing out on turn two. I had a friend who played a similar deck but he splashed blue for daze, gush, and foil. I prefer your strict agro version, because it's all about the big turn. Great build! Good luck

How are you supposed to play anything

My Sentiments exactly. No Mana sources.

It is impossible to play any cards in this deck because all of the lands that produce colored mana are in the sideboard.

He stated in my question that you would need forest, but none are actually in the deck. Fetch land are a good idea, but he needs at least 4 forest to search for.

Then he really needs to change that.

I dd tell you guys i didn't put forests because i like to play mine with only 1 forest
I did note that you may play this deck with any amount of forests you like, max 12

There aren't any in your deck, which brought my first question of how to play it.

0

When you start a match the first game cannot use any of the cards from the sideboard.

0

Why max 12? What's to keep you from having 15 Forests?

0
Posted 07 November 2013 at 11:38

Sideboard needs to have exactly 15 cards.

0

No, it doesn't. Wizards changed that back in October when they got rid of Extended Format. Now a sideboard includes up to 15 cards.

you need a way to bring Fastbond to your hand...you dont expect to have it in every 1st hand i guess!!!4 cards may never come..its better to get rid of Exploration and put fetch to have Fastbond in your hand..Exploration isn't that good in my oppinion
You could also get a better win condition other than the infinite 4/4 which is good but boring and needs one more turn for haste

My suggestion...Hedron Crab!!a combo deck always need one more color

Why is it banned in all formats?

Mostly because of strip mine.

Try Ghost Quarter instead?

-2

Ha. Because of Fastbond. Restricted in Vintage, banned in legacy. This deck is slow for what you can do with fastbond.

Guys the no forests in deck means you should put them in,this is just how a deck is suposed to look like
I like to play it wth 1 forest, but many players don't like it so i made it like this

Many players don't like to be able to cast cards in their decks? Thanks for trolling.

This deck is awesome! I Really like it. But i don't understand the second combo. Don't you need zuran orb for This one as well?

Not really, since grazing gladehart gives you 2 life everytime you return a land

fascinating deck. love the combo. but I have to ask, what is with the search lands? I understand the need to get them into the graveyard, but they have no valid targets to search for. your only real source of mana here is the cobra and the birds. how do you plan on getting them out with no source of green mana? I see forests in the sideboard, but no green mana mainboard? am I missing something critical?

Edit: I posted before I read any comments. again, this is a fantastic and fun looking deck. :)

Lol.... :) had no problem with it in the first place. Like I said, it looked great already, and I just wasn't sure if I had missed anything. mostly because I tend to not recognize legacy style combos very well. you said that you normally run it with a single forest right? How consistently can you get out the forest quickly. Do you just mulligan until you get it in your hand, or can you draw/ search for it easily?

well you don't need it in your opening hand, fetch will take it out
