Deck Description

A deck because I want to make something with progenitus in it that works.

All the special lands are in case all your cheaters fail and you have to do this the real way.

I really like this. But to be realistic, take out the Black Lotus and put in 4 Dragon Archs. Those will help you get Progenitus and the Archangel out very quickly.

nice..... i originally had progenitus in a deck but switched it up after some careful thought. to the dragons. progenitus is nice but can easily be controlled by a good black deck. the Edict cards and others like it can take care of him pretty quickly.
See with dragons or slivers or other multi-colored creatures its easier to get the win when employing this strategy by keeping powerful monster around longer and not having to rely on one monster.

if you still want to run this deck i recommend doing something to protect yourself from the spells that target you as a player, forcing you to destroy progenitus. counterspell, manaleak so on and so forth....

Well there are 4 and protection from everything means he can't get blocked...or be targeted by anything. I will put gaea's herald in though for protection from counters, but even if Progenitus gets countered he just goes back to the deck...and fauna shaman does the rest.

I'm sorry, I meant to ask: How does a good black control stop Progenitus? Protection from everything, and then I have Priveledged Position, and then when its destroyed it goes back to the deck, and Fauna Shaman AND diabolic tutor to make sure i get it and can cheat it out...

id use cards to make you scrifice creatures in order to kill progenitus like chainer's edict and consuming vapors plus you realize you cant put priveledged position on progenitus right? just wondering

I know, priviledged is for the fuana and the elf etc. Plus, sacrifice progenitus, goes back to the deck, fauna shaman gets it into your hand, and you just cheat it out again.

very little negative to say really well built i like dragon arch thats geat and elvish piper malstrom angel you have several mechanics for casting Progenitus which i really like i'm not sure you need privlaged position as Progenitus is so damn hard anyway thegathered is right things that target you and force you to sacrifice are a way round Progenitus although they would need a lot of them as you have smaller things you'd sac 1st but leyline of the sanctity is the way round that and id swap privlaged position for these !

very nice deck well done ! (feel free to return any thoughts and comment on my own decks cheers and all the best) well done.
