Well, recently there was a unsanctioned tournament at mox boarding house where players were asked to bring a modern deck, but they could use banned cards in it. This is what I would do to my Infect deck if there was no banned list.I also decided not to include a sideboard because, really, can you afford to take anything out of your deck? No not really.
Use your Blazing Shoal to give your infector a lethal pump. I have 4 mental misstep because its currently banned and the worst thing that can happen to you while playing this deck is your opponent bolts your infector in response to the blazing shoal so we kinda need mental misstep. Ponder, Preordain, and Gitaxian Probe are for finding what you need. Gitaxian Probe can show you if youre in the clear to swing the turn you play it. Thoughtseize is to take out your opponent's counterspell or blocker (if you have Glistener Elf).
