Deck Description

Here is one of my many Sliver decks. This one is meant to tie down the opponent while you build a small force of slivers. It is a deck just for fun. And yes I know that there is no black mana in the deck, that is what Gemhide and Prismatic Omen are for.

Deck discussion for Slivers of Rath

if you are going to spell it rath, put in a furnace of rath at least

Any Sliver player who knows anything about Slivers, knows that Slivers originate on Rath, thus I find it suitable to name this deck, Sliver of Rath, with or without, a Furnace of Rath.

Most of these non-Sliver cards are amazing, and scream complete control. I don't know about your choice for the actual Slivers though. It seems a bit random. I know Slivers can do anything you want them to, and that's why they're great. But I think using them in a theme makes them all the more powerful.

Gaea's Cradle combined with Sliver Queen and Gemhide Sliver gives you dozens of Slivers every turn, and it just keeps doubling for every turn you don't completely kill your opponent. Add Sliver Legion and they're not only a giant army, they're a giant army with giant power and toughness.
