After seeing so many variations of this i decided to make my own!Yes i know it's over 30$.BEST CARDS/CORNERSTONES:Scuttling Doom Engine: this thing does million damage million different ways! it is just amazing! With this deck you can play it turn 3 or 4. . . WITH HASTE!Darksteel Citadel: for many reasons, 1: Ensoul Artifact, just think about it. . . 2: Shrapnel Blast will always have a target and 3 Scrapyard Mongrel will always have something to play with.Shrapnel Blast: 5 damage for two mna! that's ust dumb especially dumb if you blow up a doom engine. . .
You try to get a turn 1 Cloudfin Raptor and an Ornithopter. Turn is where you want to play Ensoul or Servant, both are pretty good and will put you in a great position. Next turn you can bring out a Juggernaut or play Hammer of Purphoros, both plays are great, especially when followed up by a Scrapyard Mongrel or Scuttling Doom Engine to pretty much win you the game out of nowhere.Vs control you just have to look out for the perfect opportunity to blow your stuff up and playing Ensoul on the citadel, if these work you win. Vs aggro you need more Lightning Strike, and early Scuttling Doom Engine and Polymorphist's Jest, but you are able to race them with the hammer, ensoul, blast or engine.My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!
