Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Not sure if this my first mono black devo in modern...BTW run some 2 mana cards, black knight if you want or can.Shit worth talking about:Gray Merchant of Asphodel: This is why it is called black devo...Vampire Nighthawk: Vampire NighthawkWhip of Erebos: in a deck with Gary, Erebos's Titan, Geralf's Messenger and Demigod this card does SOOO much work.Erebos, God of the Dead: It is pretty nice that you are the only one with 40 or more life, and it is even nicer that you get a 4 mana 5/6 and is even nicer that you get to use that 44 life to draw cards.
I'm kinda sad i didn't fit almost any discard in there but what can you do... Actually I could just cut something and put Duress in there.Ok, you get devo, play Gary and win. If your opponent doesn't get stuck at 1 mana through you have to kill stuff, be as aggressive as you can with your nighthawk and Geralf's Messenger and win fast or play the long game and win with Gary, erebos and whip.

Oh, the power of mono black. I would say cut the murders for a 2 cmc removal spell like Doom Blade, Go for the Throat, or even Grasp of Darkness. It would kill most threats.

Go for the Throat would probably be your best bet, but it's $2.50. Doom Blade is almost always as good at 25 cents. As for mana ramp (that's what you mean by "enabler" right?) The only thing I can think of is Sphere of the Suns.

Yeah, I should have said ramper, anyway I thought there would be no modern legal card that both gives devo and ramps you, would be cool to see turn 4 bloodgift.
Yeah, but since Dark Ritual black has not seen any good form of mana ramp to tap into. You could use Liliana of the Dark Realms. She's unfortunately a 4 drop and isn't true acceleration, but she's really good for deck thinning and removal.
