This is the grixis deck of the format and one of my favorite decks.It's one of the best "good stuff builds" out there as it combines the amazing card advantage that blue gives, the flexible removal of red and the best of black, great threats and great removal, all of these powered up by artifacts.The deck only runs 22 lands because that's all this control deck needs, with preordain, Prophetic Prism, Mulldrifter and Thoughtcast we'll get to 8 mana in no time. The bounce lands help this as well.
The way you play is akin to many of the value decks seen in modern, except without any hand attack which I chose not to run, but if your meta is dominated by control decks by all means go and play 4x Duress in the mainboard.Draw, remove threats, play a Bleak Coven Vampires and start grinding them down.The low threat count will make it hard vs control decks, but the sideboard will make this a lot better.Anything that tries to kill you asap will find it difficult to get through all your removal and your all around well rounded to beat most decks.
