Custom Dual Deck The opposing deck (Warlocks) is in the sideboard for easy viewing. Please see this link for details on that deck: https://www.mtgvault.com/thetruelenon13/decks/warlocks-dual-deck-2/Wizards: Control deck with a fun blend of science and magic. This deck is built around counters, removal and card draw.
Goblin Electromancer is core to success here. He will reduce the cost of every instant in this deck and give you more choices. You can even stack multiple of him to help with higher powered spells like Fall of the Titans. It is also worth getting Windrider Wizard or Archmage Emeritus onto the battlefield so you can churn through cards to get the best ones.Early game Thing in the Ice is a nice blocker. It will transform once you play four instants cards, which will bounce all other cards and give you a nice reset. Ideally you always have enough untapped mana to cast an instant or two. Favor counter spells as you have many (6 restricted, 6 unrestricted), though you can use removal to bounce or burn creatures on the field. Be aware of the creature protection spells in Warlocks though (Feign Death, Gaea's Gift). Those will save the creature unless you can counter those as well. Be very careful of Saryth in the Warlocks deck. She gives a combo of hexproof and deathtouch to creatures depending on their tap state and is very dangerous. Best to use Horribly Awry to exile her if you can.Late game Mercurial Chemister and Niv-Mizzet, Parun will be your friends. They allow for great ways to draw cards and throw out tons of damage. Niv-Mizzet in particular can be a showstopper if you protect him.Don't be shy with casting magic spells here. There are always more, so it's best to counter and kill your opponents creatures rather than letting them live and attack you.
