I jokingly suggested to my friend, "What do you think would happen if we put Dubious Challenge, Old-Growth Dryads, and Tocatli Honor Guard in the same deck?" Then as we got discussing it, he mentioned Phage the Untouchable as a "spicy" combo... and that reminded me of a bunch of people using torpor orb-like effects to negate that kind of stuff, which got me thinking...Suggestions are welcome!
The idea is to use Dubious Challenge to get your opponent to lose the game. Either by taking the reallllly bad creature, or by giving you the bad creature when you don't suffer its consequences. You almost always want to grab either Tocatli Honor Guard or Hushwing Gryff with Eater of Days or Phage the Untouchable when you dig. If you can't, then Arbor Elf does more for your deck than it will for your opponents (most of the time.) If you do end up getting screwed by the Challenge, then you can use Path to just remove it from the game or get a Brooding Saurian to just bring them back to you.
