Deck Description

Yeah, idk about this one but i'll give it a shot. If you have ideas for this deck they would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm kind of stuck.

Update 11/16/11: Ok so made quite a few changes. Cut down some creatures and removed non creature spells for more creatures. Added a side-board as well.

Deck discussion for SplinterFright

I've been working on a similar deck. It's a bit less budget than what you have, but check it out.

Also Noxious Revival + Merfolk Looter = the very poor mans snapcaster. It's more mana intensive, but it gets the job done when you need something in a pinch.

Not using Snapcaster since I only have 7 non creature spells. and only 5 of them i could hit with snapcaster and 2 of the 5 just shuffle back in if I use it. Noxious Revival and Merfolk looter can get me a land or creature if need be, or save my green sun zenith. I think the reason the deck costs so little is because well, most of the cards in it are pretty bad, but I think they fit perfectly here.

Yeah, I'm personally in love with the Archtype. But at the moment it's missing some key pieces to make it more consistent/less likely to be disrupted. My deck runs a few more spells, and using snappy to bring back a postmortem lunge into a kessig cagebreaker can be a great finisher (especially when pulled out of nowhere as a last attempt to win). My biggest problem is having a non-graveyard finisher. Have you considered Mulch? It's amazing in any GY deck running green.
