Deck Description

One day I was playing a big game of magic and a friend of mine set down a Deathgaze Cocatrice. No one touched him because they didn't feel like it was worth losing one of their creature. Thats when I came up with the thought "Hey, why not make a deck outta that!". So i did. But it needed something more. Some kind of edge. So I looked online and found it. First strike and deathtouch combo. It was phenomenal. And then, I found Vraska. After that, it all fell into place. This deck is guaranteed to make grown men cry. It's my favorite side of Golgari. One that doesn't get shown very often. And it's a creative way of building the deck. You can either deal damage over time and suffocate your enemy with the Glissa and Wurm coil combo, or just make them lose the game entirely with Vraska. It's wonderful! Personally I think my favorite card in the deck is Glissa, the Traitor. But the best way to describe the deck is in everything Vraska can do. From removal and consequences to simply saying this player can't play anymore.

How to Play

Glissa and wurmcoil is a wonderful thing. You have the ability to last for a long long time. Also use the side board. Go for the throat is the safest 2 drop destroy target creature option in my opinion. That's just cause all my friends use black so doom blade isn't very reliable for me, but don't be afraid to switch them out. Also be aware of indestructible. It's the decks worst enemy. That and burn. Be prepared for those two. Tragic slip should take care of indestructible. Burn is pretty well matched by wurmcoil engine. If you have any suggestions at all please let me know. Thanks and enjoy!
