Deck Description

im running a human deck and ive gone 3 - 1 with it at fnm but i wanna do better

so this is the design for what the deck could be if i get it to its optimum state

comments and criticisms appreciaited

you went 3-1 with the deck *which im sure not insulting your intel* but could you tell me what decks you played against....because if you played fnm alot of people there are competitive only.... so they would be playing decks gthat you would see in States and PTQ and PT. and Worlds

i played: infect, burning vengence, kessig wolf run, illlusions

against infect i had enough removal to take care of his stuff and then i just over aggro'd him

against burning vengence i way out aggrod him and destroyed his vengence once he got one out

against wolf run i was out aggroing him but then i stopped drawing land and lost

against illusions i just gideons lawkeeper'd him for the win + mad aggro

and by mad aggro i mean 1 game i had 2 inquisitors flail equipped to angelic overseer swinging for 20, and another i had a bonds of faith and a flail equipped to a mirran crusader swinging for 16

i play in victoria bc canada where some of the top (not actually sure the number and i dont wanna get flamed) worlds players are, thankfully i didnt play against them

basically my only real problem deck to go against is the counterspells and doom blade the first 5 turns then turn 6 wurmcoil, gravetitan, sphynx style decks, also BSZ hates on me

everything else ive got enough removal and tempo to kill them before they establish

Ah the mono white deck im looking foorward to making. Well its mono white, but i have a few changes opposed to yours. drop bonds of faith, the single blade splicer (Unless your playing tutors, reanimator or soome kind of draw, 1 ofs are almost dead, rule of thumb for me is if its good enough for your deck its good enough to put atleast 2 of), drop 2 wap, 4 parish, 1 fiend hunter, 1 elite inquisitor and add 4 doomed travelers (its a 1/1 body that can block and becomes a flyer, gains from honor of the pure and can carry a sword nicely), add 2 faf to main board (its awesome to have options other than the wap), add 3 angelic destiny (I cannot even begin to say how ridiculious this card is on anything, and the grand abolishers main board complement it), add 2 gideon jura (he is an amazing card, pretty much give you extra life and if your at a dead lock with your opponent, it forces them to open of gives you the chance to block and kill what you want, or a 6/6 smacker). Now for the sideboard drop the faf and put the two main like stated b4, add 2 boody and mind(even though nobody really throws out fat blue creatures, it's nice to not let them stop your damage with chump blocks), take out bonds and celestial purge (better options), add in 4x divine offering (an instant that can kill any artifact for 2 and heal for the mana cost is great, and if your just hitting a inkmoth, it was definantly worth it, people doom blade those things for 2 all the time) and drop 1 splicer for 2 revoke existance (oh damn, wurmcoil, exile suka, trust me youll feel the joy). Thats about all i got and im pretty sure the drops and adds are even =D

nice deck ... seems really close to one of my decks
you should remove the 2 bonds of faith ( put them in your sideboard ) unless your local metagame has very few humans
otherwise it seems nice

Well Humans is a good deck but you make it Haunted humans and need to make it a UW land base run moorland hanut and gotta have 4 honor of the pure. See with Moorland haunt you remove a dude and pop in a 1/1 well 2/2 flyer with HOP out so you cycle throuh dudes like crazy, and its not a bad idead to run a few ghostquaters for the Inkmoths or kessing wolf runs, or town ship tokens. I am not a fan of the elite inquister i ran the Accordor Paladian, ya getting that battle cry in ya in my opinion its a better 2 drop!. Just a few ideas from my build.
