Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (14 cards)

Sorceries (1)

Instants (12)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

insanely over the top and ridiculous, thats what im going for here

turn 1
-forbidden orchard Tap (they get a 1/1 creature) birds of paradise

turn 2
-forest
- Tap forbidden orchard (they get a 1/1 creature)

turn 3
-forest Tap
-Tap last turns forest
- Tap forbidden orchard (they get a 1/1 creature)
- play defense of the heart

turn 4
-beginning of your upkeep they have 3 1/1s from forbidden orchard
-sac defense of the heart
-search for Emrakul, the aeons torn & Progenitus and put them into play

and that my friend is RIDICULOUS!!!!!

and still thats being conservative with this decks full potential, something i can consistently rely upon
its full potential is sometimes i play defense of the heart turn 3, and turn 4 it activates and i play natural order and get out emrakul ulamog and progenitus and i just laugh :D

some other interesting points are:

- having only 4 defense of the heart isnt very reliable so having 4 natural order as well to possibly get progenitus makes things a whole lot more consistent

- the most common response to you playing defense of the heart or natural order will be to counter it or destroy it while you are tapped out, so i use pact of negation as a 0 cost counterspell and then it is an easy 1 more mana next turn than i just played for my now safe spells

- the main deck may be vulnerable against sligh or aggro so i have tangle and fog sideboarded to SHUT THEM DOWN

- have lots of scry and deck manipulation to make sure i draw what i want

- as well as blocking with augury owl and wall of blossoms buys me a turn or two

- sideboarded hellkite overlord in case for some reason having 4 natural order and only 1 progenitus is no good

- and some sideboarded walls cuz i needed more cards to make a complete sideboard, im sure they would work though too

(i added tropical island, intuition, show and tell to the sideboard just in case ppl were wondering some options to make this deck much more competitive for actual legacy tournaments)

I also made a brand new version of this deck that is strictly for being as competitive in legacy tornoments as possible, here is the link: http://www.mtgvault.com/EditDeck.aspx?DeckID=318171&DeckCardID=7469121

Deck discussion for WHABAM!

I like the use of Forbidden orchard and defense of the heart. might have to incorporate that into one of my decks.

Neat, it's kind of like a gentle version of Oath of Druids!

yah, theres a couple different versions, like hide and seek, sneak attack, elvish piper, but mines the only one that gets so many out, yes it is overkill because just a progenitus will win you a game, but 3 guys is so much more fun lol

Would simply like to point out that your turn four is the point at which I would just scoop.

WALL OF GLARE is an 0/5 WALL for 1W that can block any number of creatures. Also, TURN ASIDE is an amazing blue spell for U that counters any spell targeting one of your permanents (ie: DEFENSE OF THE HEART)!! Maybe these could work in your deck!!

Urborg, Tomg of Yawgmoth to make all lands into "Swamps". After that crack fetch lands to get a "swamp" or rather a Forbidden Orchard. It's not great, but it's another option to get it out for the combo?

Hunted Troll is also a good idea to help with Defense of the Heart. It makes enough tokens to activate it.

Add 1 Urabrask, the Hidden instead of Progenitus so you can give Emrakul Haste when you fetch it with defence of the heart.

Urabrask doesn't have protection from anything. Just saying

I proxied this deck and really love it so I'm trying to buy/trade all the cards for it. On a local level, the deck murders. To make it cheaper, I took out most of the fetch lands, Noble Hierarch, and Pact of Negation with suitable substitutes like Mana Leak and Llanawar Elves. I honestly want to say Congratulations on this deck and thank you for the idea

well, sorry to spoil it, but what if you draw progenitus, emrakul, or ulamog... you only need to have 2 of them in your hand to make this deck work not very well. It says, "your library, not your hand" on defense of the heart

0

I've actually been testing this deck myself and haven't encountered this problem. Honestly, if that happens, just let it get discarded into the graveyard and replinish your library. RTFC

ya ive only got 3 dards in the deck i dont want to draw and 10 cards to prevent those 3 from being in my hand, its really not an issue

concordant crossroads!!!

0

That also allows your opponent to eff you up big. Waiting a turn to hit with 25 unblockable (..well basically unblockable) is worth it. No Concordant Crossroads. NO

Very nice deck idea! I really like the combos! It seems ridiculous too! I would defiantly recommend Beast Within to kill off some lands to make it harder for them to wipe you although pact of negation really helps that (I'm just iffy about it as a loss condition is build right into the card...). Great idea though! I absolutely love it!

I have a question about Pact of Negotiation. Use it to counter a spell on opponents turn. Do you have to pay the required mana BEFORE you untap lands or AFTER. I'm getting a little confused about it

0
Posted 21 March 2012 at 04:31

yes the untap step comes before your upkeep, you untap and then tap them to prevent the loss

Academy Rector, Living Plane, Novablast Wurm. cause i'm mean to my friends. Realm Razer
is always a good one to put in there also. after that you won't have to worry about any day of judgment to rain on your parade.

Spearbreaker Behemoth, Godsire also another combo i use depending on the decks your playing against.

This deck is very adaptable, i run multiple 2 creature combos and pull the one that i see fits the situation the best.

Lightning Greaves or Neurok Stealthsuit. those are for the turn 2 that you have nothing to do... cause there is nothing more frustrating than getting your big creature out just to have it removed.

Well, my suggestion would be double up on progenitus seeing how he has protection from everything ( this includes the legendary rule.... At least fairly sure, calling to ask today) then all you have to worry about is protecting that precious enchantment

0

Update, protection from everything will not protect against legendary rule
