This is a Tribal Rats with a discard theme. Ravenous Rats makes the opponent discard a card when it enters the battlefield. Mind Rot, Demogorgon's Clutches, Davriel and Liliana all have discard effects too. We're essentially attacking the opponents hand!Once the opponent is down to 1 or fewer cards in their hand, we slam down a Shrieking Affliction or Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage. These cards punish the opponent for having too few cards in their hand.Then we play our secret weapon: Runechanter's Pike!All our removal, instants, sorceries etc... that we've been casting up until now... have silently been strengthening the Runechanter's Pike. Slam this bad boy onto the battlefield and equip it to a rat. Bonus points for equipping it to a Typhoid Rat, which has deathtouch. Combined with the equipment, he'll have deathtouch and first strike (which is a lethal combination).Our other secret weapon is Pack Rats and Rat Colony. These cards get stronger, the more rats that are in play.If you can ever get to 5 mana, cast Immortal Servitude with an X of 2 and return pretty much EVERY rat in the graveyard to the battlefield!All in all - this deck is vicious! It runs on 3 mana with no problem. If you like the discard mechanic, or rats... this deck is for YOU!

Nasty deck! An absolute nightmare to play against. Can't play cards, can't block effectively as the blocked Pack Rat adds another Pack Rat before combat, gets stronger and sometimes survives. When you factor in the cost of the cards involved it's just disgusting....I can't bring myself to "Like" this deck, as it's a complete swine to face up against.

Hehe - true story. I've played against this deck myself... and it's a tough cookie to crack as it shuts you down pretty quick. It's pretty decent too against control decks, as they're waiting to counter your spells, and instead you're creating an army of pack rats. If they don't have a board sweep card (e.g. Supreme Verdict, or Day of Judgement)...they're toast!
