Plays like a control deck. Flash in massive wurms during combat to kill your opponents attackers. Makes attacking very scary for your opponent. Massive token explosion with lots of life gain, massive 8/8 elementals, vigilence, trample, shenanigans.This deck runs on 4 mana comfortably, with the most expensive spell costing 5 mana (increasing devotion). Avacyn Pilgrims help ramp your spells and sort out the mana base giving you that much needed white mana for your Advent Wurms and Trostani, Voice of Selesnya. Wurms can be out as early as turn 3... and 2 of them too if you play your cards right (see combo 1 below).This is a fun deck that gives any deck a good run for it's money.
Combo 1:Round 1 - Avacyn PilgrimRound 2 - Wayfaring templeRound 3 - Attack with the temple and flash in a worm during combat to grow the Wayfaring temple and if it hits... populate and create a 2nd wormORRound 3 - Call of the Conclave. Play Rancor on the Wayfaring Temple. Attack for 5/3 trample... and then populate after combat leaving you with two 3/3 Centaurs, a 6/4 Wayfaring template (with trample) and an Avacyn Pilgrim. Definitely Thragtusk, and Armada wurm would be fun :P i dont like grove of the gaurdian in here, could use some more duals, Aka temple garden and sunpetal grove With farseek for ramp, adding temple garden allows for Arbor elf, which also allows it to tap for white, making it somewhat superior to your pilgrims. Its all expensive i know, standard is probably the most expensive format because you always need to pay for the new stuff and it just keeps adding Voice of Resurgence also is amazing for tokens, expensive but TOO good

BTW, also like wafaring temple, and the new white rare from Dragons Maze (populate get a bird guy) trostani is good, and effective, could also play Rhox for lifegain ? thraggy makes selensia decks these days, and he's down from his normal 25$ state
I agree I like the scion and he doesnt see much play and I don't know why, for 5 you get a 4/4 and a 1/1 flyer and if you played advent the turn before another 5/5 trampler, that's a pretty good 5 drop any day. Worst comes to worse you get him and 2 flyers
