Deck Description

This is a red/white/blue deck that is mostly about morph and jeskai.

How to Play

Use Lens of clarity to always be a step ahead, and then use burn spells to start to whittle down their life. Morph is commonly used in this deck, and it has a fair amount of counterspells. The finishers are Soul of Shandalar, Narset, Thousand Winds, and Pearl Lake Ancient.

I find getting the right mana in a three colored deck is hard. Since you are running a three colored deck, I recommend at least putting in the three colored tap land called Mystic Monastery and it taps for U/R/W mana. This will allow you to maximize playing what is in your hand.

As for other ways of getting the right amount of mana, you could put in more taplands that tap for 2 colors, such as Swiftwater Cliffs which tap for U or R, and Wind-Scarred Crag taps for R or W.

Another thing to do is to look at the mana symbol count under the mana curve to see how much land is "really required" to play your stuff. For example, you have 22 B symbols that need an island and 11 W symbols that need a plains. So in theory you would want more islands in your deck than planes. I usually make a ratio of my symbols and your ratio is 6:11:7. I find that if you just go with basic land, I like to have a minimum of 7-8 lands per color, so here is what I recommend in your mana split, 7 plains, 9 islands, and 8 mountains.

As a side note, from experience, having 24 lands is the optimal amount of lands to have in your deck. So, remove 1 land and bump up one of your mobs or spells that you have one of to two.

That is it for now, I probably have more to say about this deck and will make another post later. For them mean time, here are two jeskai decks I have been working on.

Jeskai (W/R/U) - http://tinyurl.com/nx42efx

Please note my mana spread on my W/R/U deck.

Thanks,

Thanks I will fix the mana base, and I want to add another killshot and 2 dissolves. Also I might add The Jeskai Khan legendary creature. I'll check out your decks.

I would also run a few Deflecting Palms to redirect your opponents finishers.

Yeah, that would be a bomb in terms of the damage reflected back on your op. What are you going to take out for it?

I would replace negate if you were against a burn or monsters deck. Otherwise I would at least sideboard it.

Yeah that is a good idea, it is not like you would want a palm in your deck facing a conrol deck.

I am going to take out the negate and a few other creatures, I'll think about the deflecting palms.
