How to Play

alright, this deck is for people who suck at getting the right mana out. If you play all the enchantments right 1 basic land card is all basic land types at a time. So for example if i get glacier out i can get each of the illusionary terrain out and make a ring by making one terrain color blue black red and green all your basic lands will be everycolor at the same time. Use sliver overlord in conjunction with amoeboid changeling to steal your opponents creatures permanently and get emrakul out to finish the game or discard him to shuffle your library. Remember to get out all the urzas land to get the bonus of 14 mana as well.

Lol this deck is hilarious. Ive never seen mana clash before, but now i definitely need to make a deck for it! The few problems i see are that the cards dont work too well together. For example i get the point of Venser, but you have no spells to protect him with, and he seems like a pretty big part of the deck. And also in order to keep you oponent locked down, you have a huge culumative upkeep to worry about. You'll have a hard time paying that after three turns, let alone the first or second, so you wont have enough time to get out what you need to get out. I think you should focus on one of this deck's two attributes; either mana-screwing the enemy or getting a big creature out to clobber your opponent. Doing both leaves you a bit too defenseless, especially early on.

And if my hunch is right, did you include the changeling because the sliver queen could help get it out? It doesn't really help your deck in any way as far as i see. You might just want to go for some actual slivers to help you out defensively, because your only real way of sustaining damage is Consume spirit, and that wont give you enough to to survive a rushy deck like rakdos. All in all it is a good idea, but it is kind of muddled with cards that aren't really very useful in this type of control deck.

Or you could use Prismatic Omen...

the mana sustaining is for the iurza lands, combined together each of the three put together equals 7 land, so having 2 copies each is useful. The overlord and changeling is for stealing your opponents cards and mana clash, well mana clash is just fricken awesome and i love accidentally killing myself with it, but the nice thing about it is that it can end the game in one turn.
