Deck Description

Massive pileup of Umbras on your creatures. Quickly overrun your opponents.

Creatures
______________
----Aura Gnarlid - heavy beater when stacked with plenty of umbras.
----Bloodbraid Elf - cascade into more umbra/umbra creatures.
----Mesa Enchantress - draw cards for each enchantment played.
----Kor Spiritdancer - buff up for each Aura + card draw
----Uril, the Miststalker - kill creature, very deadly when paired with Canopy Cover and Hyena Umbra

Enchantments
_____________
----Mayael's Aria - a win-con in this deck, buff up your guys with this enchantment, then gain life, then win. Best part, they'll have to focus on this enchantment, they wont be able to target your creatures, they'll have shroud from Canopy Cover :D
----Canopy Cover - give my creatures shroud from opponent spells and flying
----Hyena Umbra - +1/+1, First Strike, and Totem Armor
----Snake Umbra - +1/+1, draw a card when damage is dealt, and Totem Armor
----Trace of Abundance - protect my special lands, while giving bonuses and card draws from creatures.

Sideboard
____________
----Tajuru Preserver - cancel out Eldrazi annihilator abilitys, seen in Polymorph decks.
----Lightmine Field - dominate RDW creatures.
----Sigil of the Empty Throne - sideboard win-con, swap with Uril when fighting Vamps or UW control decks or UWr Planeswalker decks. Overrun the air waves.
----Crystallization - prefect immobilization of annoying creatures
----Slingbow Trap - destroys vampires, especially annoying Malakir Bloodwitch and Vampire Nocturnus.

Deck discussion for Naya-Umbras T2

i think it should use raging ravine and raging ravine is perfect with trace of abundance so your man land has shroud

same with stirring wildwood

sigil of the empty throne seems like a good card to throw in there

The main reason, I dont like man lands so much in this deck, is because of the style of the deck, and how fast it actually is. Believe it or not, but with all of these snake umbras and "when play enchantment/aura, draw a card" cards I have, I'm going to need to keep my mana cost low, to play them as fast as I can. I've actually pulled out a Aura Gnarlid with 1x Canopy Cover, 1x Hyena Umbra, 2x Snake Umbra, and about 2 trace of abundance on my lands around turn 4, 5. That's a 11/11 flyer, shroud, first strike, draws 2 cards each time it deals damage. This deck builds so quick, I need to try and keep things low costing.

And for the sigil of the empty throne, that one does seem like a good card, I'll consider it. Only thing i dont like about it is that the angels don't have shroud, and 1 maelstrom pulse will obliterate them. Good card to use against UW control/ UWr Planeswalker decks though.

Played against a faster version of this at game day, GOT WRECKED. Single path to exile or oblivion ring and you're done. They'll wait till you try to canopy cover the gnarlid then path in response, or bolt if he's small enough, or terminate, or anything. Uril isn't a bad addition, but by the time he comes out, you might already be dead. Vines of the Vastwood should be in your sideboard for the gnarlid, then maybe you'll have a chance at him sticking.

That's why I'm packing not only 4x Canopy Cover, but 4x Trace of Abundance on my man-lands. If they're running heavy exile, drop a canopy cover on a Kor Spiritdancer, or atleast attack them with my Raging Ravine with shroud. The +1/+1 counters add together pretty fast.

Might i recommend putting eldrazi conscription in there? Yes the card is slow, but it's deadly and worth more than it's mana cost.
