Deck Description

I found a deck list to this on Commander Theory on Tumblr
http://commandertheory.tumblr.com/post/79232425147/sasaya-orochi-ascendant
I liked the original deck list but found that an old Eldrazi defender ramp deck I used to play was built similarly. So here is my spin on their deck.
Mana MANA MANA FATTIES!

Thank you so much, but I can't take credit for this the tumblr link I posted gave me the greater part of the deck design.

But the artifacts are totally shit... and many other objects and creatures too... to the exception of some cards, this deck is utter shit.

I think someone is a little butthurt over a causal deck.

Oh, sorry but i fail to see how a $423.96 deck is ''casual'' deck. For that price the deck should be 100 times better.

I think that is a matter of your own opinion on what "causal" means. I own a deck similar to this and have played against decks like this. This deck is by no means fast early game or very competitive.
Sure the deck I own I put maybe $120 into it and rest from trades but I still find it very causal and fun to play in multiplayer. I don't win often but nobody complains about it. Not every deck has to win all time. I play it for a change of pace or when others are new and learning.

TL; DR: This isn't the type of deck for you.

What about adding in Burgeoning and Exploration? Azusa, Lost but Seeking would also be good in this deck. However if you plan on wanting to have all the land in your hand so you can use your general flip side then maybe not. All up to you.
Also if you want to be ballsy or know that you are safe you can always play Liege of the Tangle for a game finisher.
You might also want to think about Tooth and Nail. With all that many you can get your fatties out.

I thought about all of those especially Liege. As I played through scars and beyond I tried 5-6 decks using him and never EVER got him to be useful enough to overwrite the danger aspect. The only problem I have with Tooth and Nail is the amount of multikickers to power house ratio I have. Some of my best spells will need multikicked which I can't do off Tooth and Nail. Exploration seemed like a better pick to me and both it and Burgeoning where sitting in my head as replacement cards to something I find doesn't work for me. Thanks so much for the comment.

Maybe Explore?

Asuza, Lost but Seeking, along with your Oracle and Courser, will get your lands out SUPER fast. If you do put her in there, add Strip Mine since you already have Crucible of Worlds.

Storm Cauldron? to screw other people who can't play 4 lands a turn? also to get you 7 lands in hand easily. I would alsso consider some landfall creatures, like ramapaing baloths, or baloth woodcrusher.

ignore him he is probably a bot. Promoting some random deck. Or you can go spam random comments on his deck. I find it funny to do that. Doesn't have to make sense or be good advice just blurt random nonsense.

I like rampaging baloths, but not baloth woodcrusher. Rampaging works better with kamahl, and is not as disappointing when it dies. I'd say Avenger is a must over nantaku cultivator.

Avenger of zendikar could be awesome here. i use it in my naya edh and it works hilariously.

Omnomnath.... I love that card. She makes a great mono green general on her own. She's a similar plan to yours, slower, but allows for fewer lands and more combos. Plus, I love swinging for fifty general damage after rancor. Though your deck seems to have the potential of going crazy (crazy) fast. I like it. If only Sasaya was black/green.... with tutors and additional combos... oh my....

I still think tooth and nail could be fantastic, as well as worldly tutor. Strip mine (if legal where you play), tectonic edge, and ghost quarter (maybe even dust bowl) could all be fantastic with crucible and life from the loam. None of them would hurt your mana base( plus, destroying your opponents' lands as you cast big fatties is awesome).

The more I see and test this deck the better Tooth and Nail becomes as I only have 3 creatures not worth getting. I am working on a few land ideas in the deck (such as the destruction lands) and even maybe a terrain generator once my commander is out.
As for Worldly Tutor, with the mana I hope to have and the speed of the deck I would rather just play Green Sun Zenith and put it straight into play rather than on top. Plus Green Sun shuffles back so I can keep re-using it. The plus to Worldly however would be picking a Multikicker creature and knowing I'll draw it next.

Yeah. Zenith is probably better. But make sure you then include a dryad arbor to increase the utility of Zenith :)

Abundance can really enable the Sasaya flip condition. Also is a gun combo with Sylvan Library

Neat deck i'd suggest more colorless removal like disk or oblivian stone or even steel helkite because if someone locks down green you're f'd

Two-headed giant. I was playing Omnath, and my partner was playing Kamahl. My opponents were running Prime speaker zegana and iona and we won. Though, my partner got a turn genesis wave for 5 turn 6 and my omnath was a 43/43 on the turn after iona was cast....

Mono green don't need no removal (^_~)
Though, I think you're right. An oblivion stone and nevinyrral's disk would both be lovely.

Consider Azami, Garruk's Horde, and Avenger of Zendikar. They will rock socks. There are plenty of cards that you COULD cut if you wanted to. I personally detest fatties without an ability that affects the game state. An 87/87 can be chumped, but it's harder to deal with 4 10/11s. Terrastodon (or, one of my all-time favourites, acidic slime, though it does not complete the parallelism of the following sentence) can also act as more removal. A fat stick with, in all intents, major card advantage.
