The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

I made a long time ago a deck with only 4 allies or something like that. That because i have not more (at the moment).
Now i thought i could create an ally deck.
the main purpose of this deck is to support each other card and create a board with only few creature but all with special abilities like lifelink, hexproof, color protection.

How to Play

each ally supports another. For example you can attack with Freeblade in your 2nd turn and give your opponent 2 (more likely 3 damage by then). The longer the game goes on your creature gain heavier and heavier.
For example you can use Kabira Evangel to give your allies protection from another color. That allows you to attack without being blocked (at least in mono colored decks).
Further I put some enchantments in to give all allies hexproof and/or lifelink and some sorcery and instants to exile annoying cards

Deck discussion for The Rearguard

Looks like fun. My first big question, though: Whip of Erebos? I like the idea, but not sure how you get it into play. Were there some mana sources you left out?

I'd try and make room for another Hada Freeblade. He's pretty key to getting fast starts and you want to increase your chances of starting with him as much as possible.

Asceticism is one of my all-time favorites...good include!

If you can afford it (and I completely understand if you can't), try and shore up your mana a bit. Temple Gardens and Sunpetal Groves would be a huge help towards ensuring you always have the right mana. Perhaps even a Cavern of Souls or two (but probably no more than two with all your non-creature spells) to combat control.

Good start, though! Allies are so much fun, and I really think white and green have the best synergy. +1 from me.

I never thought about multicolored lands because I'm not a fan of it. Maybe it's worth putting in some.

whip-related: Might it be that I missunderstood the ability of Harabaz Druid? As far as I assume it works, it'll get me enough black mana for the whip, or not?
If in case I can't create a black mana with this construction, I'll switch the Whip with 1 Freeblade and 1 Survivalist

thanks for your feedback

Oh, right! Completely forgot about Druid. *headsmack* Yeah, that would work. But with only two Druids in the deck, I'd strongly recommend another couple of black mana sources.

For the land base, I would recommend:

2 Temple Garden
3-4 Sunpetal Grove
1-2 Overgrown Tomb/Woodland Cemetery (G/B land)
1-2 Godless Shrine/Isolated Chapel (W/B land)

Then fill in the rest with Plains and Forests...probably 3-4 more Plains than Forests. 22 total lands is about right. It really is a big help for consistency.

yeah thanks for this accurate list of land set up. I think I'll test this deck with this land setting and maybe I'll change the number from freeblade with blademaster.

I'll let you know how it is playing with it :D
