Deck Description

I have read numerous infect decks on here that say they are turn 3 wins but when i play test them, it never draws the way it should. and we all know with infect, if you don't have the win from turn 3-6, the odds of winning go down substantially. so after much hussle, and long hours of work and trying, i have made an infect that consistently wins from turn 4-6....ive play tested this a dozn times and i had 4 games it didn't produce what you needed for a win but was still able to hold its own. and Garruk is only in this for the manna ramp, not the 3/3 creature tokens....and yes, also for the +3/3 trample

Deck discussion for infect....im going to pump....you up with poison:)

I would get rid of the darksteel plate and Livewire lash, add 1 more plage myr, ichorclaw myr, phyrexian Juggernaught, and two Myr galvanizers. and possible think about replacing the Garruk's with 2 more Galvanizers or maybe the Trigon of Infestation.

My reasoning is that you need more creatures in your deck, yes the equipment is cool and fun if you can pull it off, but you already have soo much pump up, that you need to make sure you have the creatures to pump up.

fair enough, yeah the creatures became a problem when i played sunday at a tourney. i had 1 glorious win but i needed it to happen more consistently which im noticing with infect, is all luck of draw. here's how it went:

t1: land
t2: land, plague myr
t3 land, swing plague myr pumped with 2x giant growth and groundswell

if that could happen more consistently, it would go smoother i think but its to hard to draw that hand so......i switched gears completely. i took a card i never even thought about building around and zomg! im gonna create the deck and i'll post a link....i think you will be just as intrigued as me when you see how it plays out:)

Well just for posterities sake you should make the changes i suggested on here to this deck, and try a few sample hands with the changes. i think you'll like the result.
