Blistering Firecat is another good "sac at end of turn" creature, more than likely better than lightning serpent. You might also try something other than Blaze, like fireball etc.

I find "Kamahl, pit fighter" to slow, same with "War elemental". Try to find something else. Kiki, Jiki would sound much better! Then I would take out the "banefire" and "Fireball". You need something against small fast creatures like Kithkin decks. So add some "Pyroclasm" or other mass damage card. If you want some drawing use "Browbeat", your oppenent chooses to take 5 damage or you draw 3 crads for 3 mana. Very nice. And if you want some mana acceleration, add some "Chrome mox". Well here some tips, you don't have to listen to me :p bc it's already a fun/good deck. But I think my tips will help you. grtz
or instead of "fireball" or "banefire" use "Flame Javalin": 4 damage for 3 mana, Fireball needs 5 mana to do so much damage
thanks for the suggestions! brow beat is pretty nasty, and i wasnt familiar with flame javelin, didnt start playing again till about month or so ago(originally stopped around mirrodin), not familiar with much before the shards block.
get rid of shock and put in some thing like burst lighting
