This is my version of a Life Gain deck. The green is mainly for mana ramp in order to get the higher costing cards out faster which in turn will allow me to gain life that much faster. The Slagwurn is a good way to stopping larger threats and gaining life in the process. Win conditions are Felidar Sovereign, True Conviction, Baneslayer, the Pridemate, Transcendent Master, the deck has many ways to overtake an opponent. Day of Judgement is in here in the case that I get into a spot where I need to sweep the board clean and start over. Side board is mainly to stop fliers. Because the only card with flying is Baneslayer. Iona, is here because I can easily mana ramp up to nine mana.

In a deck where so many creatures are useful at so many different points, Fauna Shaman is essential. Also, I highly recommend Dauntless Escort, which will not only protect your Sovereign from Novablast, but your entire board.
